The breeder owned both the stud and the dam.

Sueincc, now that the shoe is on the other foot,I have a suspicion that you know the breeder im talkink about.  I gave a promise to the puppy buyer that I would not reveal the breeders name on the database.  The puppy buyer has a valid reason not to reveal their name.

Suspicions confirmed.  I suggest the rest of us IGNORE REPEAT IGNORE until actual information is forthcoming.

"Id be in the same leaque as you bible bashers..."

Are they really bashing the bible or those of you constantly trying to shove it down our throats?

WTF does Jesus have to do with any of this?? O.o I just fail to see the connections, kinda funny though...We are talking about some guy or gal that may or may not have a stud dog who loves Jesus but throws bad elbows, but it might be the Dam and maybe she doesn't love Jesus but she throws bad hips, also somebody is going to Nationals and something about some fractions...What is going on, I am so confused :(

Gouda you are barking up the wrong tree with me.  How would I know what dog you're talking about?  I haven't any idea where you live or what dogs are near you.

I simply asked you how you come to the conclusion the bad hips were thrown by the stud.  I would have asked you the same question had the thread been about a show line dog.  The fact that the owner of the stud also owns the dam still doesn't mean the bad hips were thrown by the stud.  I agree it needs to be considered.

Did you also see where I said it's not about the guarantee?  Do you understand what I mean when I say that?  A breeder can guarantee he will replace any pup with bad hips but if all that breeder has is more crap stock what's he going to replace the pup with?  Quite likely another less than healthy pup, exactly what happened to your friend.  So that's what I mean when I say I don't care about the guarantee, everyone is offering a guarantee, but not everyone has good quality healthy dogs.  This is not a show line - working line thing, this goes across all lines.

I don't know what the percentage is, but I would agree that probably a lot of dogs are being bred that really shouldn't be, both working and show line dogs.  Seems like everyone and their brother wants to be a breeder and many of them are kennel blind and  think their dog is Skippy the Wonder Dog, both show and working line folk.

  Hi  Bob

Your reply stating that its the stupitest thing you ever heard, explains the reason the working line is also spiraling down hilll like the showlines have.
Its true Bob the mantality of a lot of W.L. breeders is, if it can bite and has drive, breed it. I know this is true, I see it with my own eyes in my neck of the woods. The show lines are no better. Open your eyes to the truth Bob.  The truth will set you free.

Have a nice day.

I say if it weighs over 119lbs and someone is dumb enough to want to use it as a stud then do it.  No matter how poor the conformation, pedigree, drives or working ability are.  Bigger is always better.

Sueinccc

Did I ever mention anything about a guarantee, this breeder has been less than honest in the past.  You stated that I have no clue about the w.l. breeders, and you stated you do not know me and dont know where I live. So your statement about me not knowing anything would be only in your imagination about me.   I stated that I had a suspition that you know this breeder stricktly because of a couple of your replies.
At no time did I say that you knew this breeder.  But I know that most or all the posters on this board know this breeder if I metioned the name.

  So have a nice day
