Something with two syllables.  Make it easier for obedience

Cynder is a black dragoness, at least that is what my search said, so I think Cynder is perfect!

NIKIRA, MOST DEFINITELY. I INTEND TO NAME MY NEXT FEMALE DIMITRA. I LIKE NAMES THAT ARE DIFFERENT.( I AM HOPING TO HAVE A COATED FEMALE IN MY LITTTER I HAVE RIGHT NOW, TOO EARLY FOR ME TO TELL IF I HAVE A PLUSHY IN THE MIX)

Good names....Its still about 50/50 isn´t it - not much help!!  Like Carole I like both the names, and like her I am always on the lookout for name ideas!  I do not think Cynder sounds preppy or girly and Cyndra sounds good too (I also like Dimitra will bear in mind if/when I get to D again.......).  Let us know what you decide.....

I was watching a show on Nat geo yesterday... "eye of a leopard" ...very interesting and I loved her name....Legadema, or "Light from the Sky,"  It sounded diferent than it's written i kept hearing "nigAdema" I think my next female will be that....maybe i am just under impression from a story...

Interesting - I have a book about a leopard called Umbulala - I actually called one of my U females this, never mind the 2 syllable rule, there are ways it can be shortened if necessary! - I found other good African U names for all that litter....

Thankyou for all the responses! I love the leopards name, especially the meaning of it, beautiful! We decided to go with Cynder. At the very least it made my 8 year old happy!
