Panda shepherds who knows they could be a spontaneous mutation. I would think this white spotting would only make a differance (fault) in a showline. In working dogs it would not matter. With the internent and many many kennels ( Breeders) going on line all over the world it is common to see pups with white marking or spots. There is something in the Willis book ( Genetics of the Dog by Malcolm B. Willis ) about this also. In black dogs white hairs are found not all but enough.
