It's a nice head. I can't stand a poor head, especially on a male, but things like head size, color, coat, do NOT making a working dog. Only icing on the cake.

True it is iceing on the cake. He has a very balanced set of drives Strong Civil and adequit Prey and ball drive as well as a great nose and desire to please.
Add all those traits together and put in a high pain tolerance and very nice angulation, medium large bone and a beautiful head. Now  you have D'loui Von Metzner
.

I am very pleased and proud to have bred and own him.

I see what you mean Mahon, the legs are so plush it makes the dog look "wider".  That's a thick coat!  Beautiful pup.

Does he cuddle.

Who cares if the dog has a pinhead or not, if the temperment, health and work abilty are sound that should be the priority. I will take a pinhead with all of the above anyday.

Sorry Denise,

Call me dumb, crazy or greedy but I want the whole package or as close to it as I can get.

If only one thing was missing and I had to choose I guess a pin head or stubby tail would be okay.

Personally I want it all and I try my best to put it together when breeding.

Doesn't mean I get it all, just that I'm trying every time!

1doggie2,

Yes he likes to cuddle, sit in the passenger's seat like a person. Raise's hell when people stand and stare at him in the seat.

Plays with my kids like they are the best thing since apple pie. He goes anywhere and every where like it's just another walk in the park.

He is very tolerant  until he reaches his limit then all hell breaks loose and his reverse is missing. He will out and cool right down but has no back up gear.

Heart is one thing I really appreciate in a dog. Very few truely possess it.

Thanks YR, The very special girl on the right is Jetta, she will be 7 in 2 mo. she is my first GSD and ALOT of dog for a first time owner. I did put her Sch1 KKL1 CD TR2 on her and it was not easy but we did it. SHe is a VERY strong dominent female and lives to work., she is retired from Sch due to a bad hip so we do AKC obedience and we are trying to get the last leg for her CDX.

The one on the left is Malachai he is 6mo old and my Sch prospect and I can't say enough about this fellow. He shows excellent potential for high level and I hope I can bring him to that level. Super super in all 3 phases so far, and it doesn't hurt that he is a Noditha v Teufelsgrund grandson, one of the best producing females IMO.
