WHAT schutzhund training do or have you ever done to come up with that statement? I have heard that crap from a lot of people....who have NO CLUE. WHAT do you know about what is in the "minority" or what "most" are doing? You make such blanket statements based on what? Air?
Yes, there are some sleeve suckers. But, I have yet to actually see one! Further, two out of the three schutzhund dogs I have had WILL go an attacker-no sleeve= get bitten. Period. No sleeve sucker. I would add the third one, as she spits the sleeve out and immediately goes for the man, but she has not yet been 'tested" in a real life situation for me to say that she'd actually protect me anyway.

My post simply states that I agree that Schutzhund dogs and PPD are not the same.
They are most often trained differently......
Some schutzhund dogs are "sleeve" focused....but that is most often because of improper training.
I see average Schutzhund dogs & really nice Schutzhund dogs every weekend.......we see "prey" mongers and strong, more serious types.....damm, we..ok ...NOT me...my husband does the helper work for some. I handle some dogs....but never have "caught" a dog......I go by what I've learned, seen and am told.
But I do know good training when I see it.........
I also know dogs that will never see a "bitesuit" because the owners are concentrated on "points" for Schutzhund.
Like I said...I prefer a balanced "prey & fight" drive....I don't want a handler hard dog, or a PPD dog....I like the ScH Sport & Conformation.
What I do know....I can post about......what I don't know.....I gladly leave for others.

Exactly what YOU should try doing, Sunsilver. YOU should read Robin's post and take it to heart. You pull the same mess every time. You apparently cannot learn to take your own advice, when it comes to things you know NOTHING about.
I care about as much about pissing you off as you do about making a fool of yourself constantly trying to bash schutzhund and anything else YOU KNOW NOTHING ABOUT. Others less kind than I have taken to flatly calling you names, due to your incessant need to spout off about things you know nothing about. Hell, woman, you don't even know when you are being attacked. I merely asked questions, the answers to which simply demonstrate that....YOU KNOW NOTHING ABOUT SCHUTZHUND.
Stick to spouting off about Shilohs.

I gotta get back to my gene manipulation to come up with my miniature Green German Shepherds... I'm sure they'll be a hit, and I bet I make a killing on them.
