Call me stupid, but I just see a bunch of ramblings, all in the same "type" of language. Not terribly compelling, and I still don't see what the point is.

BTW, I scored extremely high on the reading comprehension portion of standardized tests, so something tells me I'm not the only one who doesn't see what the point is in all this or what any of these people even WANT.

1) Tell us what you WANT. Tell us what your POINT is.
2) Give background as to why you want it and why you deserve it.
3) For best results, use paragraphs and punctuation (so that some of us with less patience and more apathy can bear to muddle through it).

I wanted to add that Michellehall did use paragraphs and I read her post. I don't see her point in posting, either, but I understood her post. Sounds like that dog never should've been in their hands and it's true he was a liability THERE. If VLA's post was just about Hannibal's temperament  (whoever the hell he is), and whether he was as represented, I will only say this:

I have bred/sold/owned dogs who were FINE in the right hands, wonderful family companions/protection dogs, **but** put in the hands of people who didn't handle them properly, they could absolutely be deemed "liabilities." Environment is a huge consideration when determining whether a dog is or is not a liability. It can be easy for a "working dog person" to underestimate a dog's potential for aggression when you take it in stride and handling that kind of dog becomes second nature. You need to remember that 99% of the public has NO IDEA how to properly handle such a dog, even if they ASK for a "protection dog." I know nothing of Jerry Mace whatsoever, nor anything of VLA except her ad for $2000 puppies out of some interesting dogs, so this is not at all personal, just my own experience/perspective on anyone calling a dog a "liability."

My point in posting is to let anyone who might read this know that Jerry was not an honest seller in our transaction. If I can save someone else time and money then it's worth my time to post.

Obviously any dog can be a liability in the wrong person's hands. Jerry Mace was fully aware that we are not professional dog handlers. We were a family looking for a family protection dog. Animal people, yes, but dog handlers, no. Hannibal is now in a much more appropriate home, the type of home that Jerry should have gotten him to in the first place (that is if his hips were actually "excellent").

Hi Stupid. LOL  She was sold a dog by a breeder who discounted the family situation and the new owner's abilities. This was ignored for the profit they would recieve: And serve as the price the new owners would pay for any percieved expertise on their part to experience and handle what they thought they wanted. We all know it wasn't what they wanted, because what they wanted is on remote control in make believeland.

I know better than to post this, and yet I am. Stupid ME.

And P.S. it would be OK NOW HEAR THIS, not OK NOW HERE THIS since we're checking punctuation, grammar and spelling.

I know what the problem is....
"she had to scream "nine" repeatedly and pull as hard as she could to get him to snap out of his anger" instead of "NEIN".
No wonder poor dog could not understand...

I am pretty sure a FAMILY PROTECTION DOG is not supposed to go in attack mode

when a friendly woman is just trying to say hello!

PS maybe the friendly woman was wearing the wrong perfume!

The thing is V L A, it is probably as simple as you not being able to read dogs well, and the smartly trained dog you paid for, knows you don't know what you are doing... with him.
