Hoky Va Pe will soon be bred to Cher Skocicka samota.  I have a daughter of Cher who is on the smaller side, and believe the breeding to Hoky will be fantastic.

Van den Heuvel will NOT stud out their dogs.

Daryl, the dog I brought in was from Skocicka samota, nice, nice male, on the larger side but not a giant by any means. Hoky is just capable of producing larger dogs. That is all I wanted to add...if somebody wants smaller dogs I would recommend Erri, I have seen smaller size dogs or medium sized dog from him on consistent bases.

My male has produced a 95 pound male and he has produced a 58 pound female. 75 pound male and 80 pound female.. so he can produce smaller dogs but not on consistent bases with almost any bitch.. just saying..
But from what I have seen, Hoky has produced nicely, I believe his half brother was sold to USA so maybe that could be an option...but dont ask me for a name because I dont know. :o(

Hi would agree with the use of Erri or another Orry son.

I own a Orry daughter & she is one of the best females I've owned in a many years. She has produced wonderful puppies with great drives yet still have a high defensive side intact. She & her offspring are natural trackers & have a super high willingness to please. She passes on her nerves of steel & stable temperament. It doesn't matter who she is bred too her & Orry's stamp are on every puppy.
She has most puppies in top sport homes, SAR, police &  4 in austic service dog working homes.

I've also imported a few Vito son's that were all on the smaller side of the standard for males. One male was only 65lbs!
They had nice drives, temperaments & health, but were too small for my taste. But I would still prefer working drives from a Orry line. ;)

I too, am impressed with the few offspring of Orry that I have witnessed.  They have been among some of the most intelligent dogs with great working drives I've seen.  All of which were also on the small side.  My ex wife unfortunately had to spay her schutzhund dog, a daughter of Orry, due to having very irregular heat cycles.  The mother may be to blame, I'm not certain, but we had another female from that same dam not sired by Orry, whose heat cycles were a bit off as well.

Thanks for the suggestions, I will look into these dogs/lines.  My bitch is 63# and 22.5" and the males I bred her to were within standard size ~80# 25".  Her first litter produced large pups ranging from 75-105#.  The second litter puppies are not adults yet, but compared to the other litter their weights have been less so hopefully they will not be oversize.  I'm not looking to produce extra tiny dogs or anything, I want a correct medium sized dog, and my bitch has thrown large.

Another vote for Erri - I have a 1 1/2 year old Erri daughter in training for Mondio Ring - she is 65 pounds soaking wet with a full belly (honestly she is a little on the chunky side at the momment....)LOL  She is super fast, intelligent, dog social and as mentally stable as any one could hope for. And she bites really freaking hard.

There is something special in the Orry line of dogs besides their drives, & high intelligence. We donate a lot of started dogs from other great working lines, but very few can I depend on for service work with children like the Orry grand children. My Orry daughter & grandson are able to do visits in nursing homes, hospitals, dialysis clinics, work with special needs children, austic children with never any issues. Sometimes these children will have behaviors like yelling & hitting, where most dogs will react, especially if being work in schutzhund. But both never do they instead comfort the child to stop the behaviors.

Daryl, I'm sorry to hear the off heat cycles your girl faced. Did she have Xero z PS in her pedigree under Orry?
I prefer the pedigrees with Orry to not have Xero in them. But that's another discussion.

Also look into sons of V Falk von den Wölfen  - -;

No, no Xero present.  http://www.pedigreedatabase.com/german_shepherd_dog/dog.html?id=649887

There's a sort of behind the scenes consensus that Orry was likely NOT responsible for her condition.
