I would say that I was scammed because I thaught I was getting a good deal on a vry good dog.  The hardest thing about the dog world is that no matter how long you train dogs, work dogs, their is always a new aspect of it.  I wanted to IMPORT a dog, you know the whole myth of importing a dog means a better dog........It is interesting that because of this post I have met some really nice people who have nice dogs....I think that this site needs to be about letting people know about the SCAMMERS, training tips and breeding.  just  a thaught thanx again.....

It could happen to anyone, Xeus. My rule of thumb with dogs is - if it seems to good to be true, it usually is. I like to be able to see dogs before I buy them and think there are plenty of very good dogs being bred right here in the US. I myself don't buy into the mystique of having to have an import. I like to buy American .

Blitzen, you are so right.  I am going to look for my female here in the States.  Atleast here I have some recourse. I agree that their are some very good breeders here in the states.  I have heard from several people that were scammed out of thousands of dollars be MARTIN SOKOLOVIC.  I hope that with these posts know one else will lose money with him.

Xeus-

Maybe you can send Martin links to posting like these and let him know he is getting exploited to help your situation. I was scammed and really don't know any recourse that can be done except to let people know about him.

Has anyone else been scammed from overseas breeder and if so what have you done ( if anything )??????

I don't know if this can help trace the rat! If so, maybe someone reading may know how to proceed further?
