I found a wonderful young bitch that needs a working home. The breeder competed at high levels (in Germany) and sold the puppy to an agility instructor. And, since it’s Germany, only flat collars and harnesses, you know what I mean. She barks, but not overly aggressively. She’s clear in the mind, Very stable, confident, good with children, good in social settings. She’s good with other dogs loose playing, but the owner is afraid to allow her to do that (pet mentality) so, only has her on a collar with other dogs, and of course, in that case she does bark at them. However, when the breeder babysat the dog and turned it loose with a whole bunch of dogs. She was playful and happy. she’s only had three protection work training sessions. (the owner, let her stay with her breeder when she went on holiday and the breeder tested the dog of course during that time.) I went to meet the dog, I absolutely love her. She’s gonna be very very fast and when she bites, you can hear her teeth clack like Orla used to do. Her drives are very, very nice. She will make somebody a wonderful Regional level competition dog. The truth is if I wasn’t babysitting Grimm, I would have taken her. The owner will not sell her to a broker. She wants the dog to go to a home. She’s had the dog in her home since it was a puppy (but the dog also knows outdoor kennel, dog Trailers, and regular crate). The dog is extremely well cared for and very balanced. If you know anyone looking, she is a good one. She will be a rocket. 16 months old, looks black, but is not genetically black (sable on her stomach, between all of her toes, and at her wrists). (please note that the videos that are with me or after only three minutes of knowing the dog. She is happy to work with anybody. She has no apprehensions and she absolutely enjoys playing the game. Also, please note, I recently had knee surgery, so I couldn’t test her to the maximum I would have liked, but consider, considering my weak leg, I think she did absolutely stellarly. The first six videos and pictures were taken yesterday when I went to meet the dog. The last videos were taken when the breeder was babysitting the dog after only three training sessions. She was 12 months old at the time. These are my impressions: Very balanced dog Clear in the mind Highest conformation level will be SG (short croup, straight elbows) She is thick boned and has junk in the trunk (lots of backend muscle that will propel her very fast down the field) Although she looks black, she is not black, she is most likely a melanistic stable (sable on her underbelly, between all of her toes, and at her wrists) Would be an excellent candidate for Regional level competition (maybe higher, depending on the trainer). Currently, she is BH ready for passing, but not flashy. Could be flashy with proper IGP style heeling training in 2 to 3 months (remember, in Germany, training equipment is illegal). Anyway, because I like the dog so much, I promised the owner that I would help her. This dog is perfect for somebody that needs a balanced animal that can do anything. It is my opinion, this young female is a blank canvas ready to be your masterpiece (assuming your masterpiece involves a rocket) Because I’m so impressed with the dog, I am committed to helping both the seller and the buyer find each other. It is my hope that she makes it into some type of working home. As far as the pedigree goes, she’s not on this database. I have pictures of her registration papers, and plenty of pictures and videos that I took when I went to make the evaluation. It is further noted that she was a recommendation to evaluate from a German breed warden. I trust him, I trust the breeder being a high-level competitor, and I trust the dog I saw. The owner seems extremely trustworthy as well.
