I have been trying to update the database with my dog's pedigree, but I am having some trouble. Any help would be appreciated. Specifically, when I attempt to input my dogs maternal grandmother's info, I receive a message that her father is not on the database, but when I try to update his info, I receive another message that says his profile already exists. I know he is on the database (Neumann's Jim). I have tried with/without apostrophe and/or titles. What am I doing wrong?

Try taking out any apostrophes, dashes or anything like that, when you do a search. Sometimes that helps.

I looked up Neumann's Jim and I finally got him to come up. Take out the 's on his name and he will come up. What is your dogs sire and dams name?

My dog's dam is Tusk Erzengel von Jerome and his sire is Kaiser von der Brashears. Tusk's pedigree is on the database. I added it without a problem. Kaiser's sire is Xuck von der Friesenklippe, and he is on the database, but Kaiser's dam Hara vom Spezialblut is not. Hara's littermate Hune is.

Thank you Jyl. It was the "s" that was throwing me off. Hara is officially registered.

I used to own both dogs and sold them to a police officer. Is there something you need to know about them? We raised them both and trained them for work and have seen some of their progeny.
