No, this topic is not bashing of the Orijen or ACANA dry dog food. It is meant to inform you that the Championship pet food is currently having problems with one of their production ovens, hence the production will be cut by 40%....in other words, it will be little harde to get hold of this product for a while.

I was told there was a fire in one of their kitchens.
It destroyed some very specialized equipment.

Thanks for the post ...

I did some calling around today after reading this thread. I did not call the company itself, but all the local pet stores that I called to obtain some extra bags of the Acana Wild Prairie had heard about the accident at the plant.

Only one store had any in stock and had to travel 45 minutes away to get it. Thankfully I did get 3 large bags,,,

Their/Orijen's oven burnt up in a fire, they are only going to make the smaller and larger bags, the middle bags will not be made right now, my gal ordered lots of extra bags, when she heard about the fire. I drive 2 1/2 hours to get my Acana. My personal dogs get raw, the rescues get the Acana. Be sure to order extra ahead of time.
