What brand of sleeve covers is more durable? I have a 24" by 11" cover. Thanks

I have been using my Gappay for a year and a half on all dogs in my club and it still has a lot of life left.

I like the Ray Allen 64YH double layer with Handle $40
and the syntex 64SH $86 which I have on my x sleeve.  Don't waste your money on the "for Dog Trainers"
sleeve covers that come with the X sleeve. They didn't last anytime with my Dobermanns much less my GSD

I like the Frabo or the Gappay.  I prefer the Frabo.  I really do not like the Ray Allen sleeves and have not tried their covers.

You'd like Ray Allen if you lived in Colorado Springs and could go down to the show room and try all the latest stuff and buy discounted returns and factory defects :-)
I bought my leg sleeve for 1/2 price because the Logo screen print was messed up (never had a dog notice it when they were biting:-))
They even made a custom sleeve cover for a unknow manufacturer barrel sleeve I acquired.
Even got to try out the new Ray Allen 1/2 sleeve that's half the price of the Gappay 1/2 sleeve.
They also repair or modify pretty much anytihing I want while I wait. PLus the stuff is Made in the USA :-)
Heck between Ray Allen in Colorado Springs and my buddy at the KONG factory in Golden, Colorado is a pretty cool place for a dog traiiner to live

I have a lot of Ray Allen equipment, I really like the company.  I just don't like their sleeves, but I love their leashes, harnesses, muzzles and other equipment.  They are one of our units preferred vendors.  I know Joe who started the Kong Company, he's a nice guy and the Kong is one of the greatest dog products ever.

I"ve met Joe a couple of times when I've gone to visit the Kong factory.  A real nice guy

The covers I like is Bende, as they have a thick plastic to protect the sleeve from moisture, but they are hard to get at times.

Ray Allen Champion cover I think it is 64dlx is a very durable cover, only $3 more than Gappay. As far as Sythetic covers Ray Allen cover that is $80+ dollars is very durable. We train 3x a week on a dirt field  and have multiple sleeve..but a general rule as long as you clean your covers off with a carpet brush and take them off the sleeve to air dry, you should get some use out of them.

Buy in bulk is the best way to go.  We will get other clubs to go in on the order so we all save. Right now we bought 10 Schweikert sleeve covers, they are not bad for the price at$25 a sleeve cover.

Handles for sleeve covers we make our own. Just have a leather or nylon strip, punch some holes at both ends and punch a couple of holes on  seam in the back of the sleeve cover and attached.  You can attached the handle with tiny carabiners or a zip tie.

On Ebay...do a search on Schutzhund. A seller is selling new sleeve covers for $20 and Free shipping. From the picture looks like the cover is either Eurosport or Redline K9 sleeve cove. For $20 I took a chance on one.

Regards,

Mario
