I just got my first pair of BOGS. They are so cute and waterproof. I can't wait to wear them in the wet fields, and even to winter swim meets. My feet should stay warm and dry, and fun to look at, to boot! Very comfy, too. Please share what you wear on your feet to keep them from gettiing soaked from the wet.

Good old Dunlop steel toe capped wellies. I always find other wellies or wellie type shoes are far too expensive for my meanness and can quite easily split/puncture... and a leaking wellie does not make for a happy boy.

Beetree
I took a look and a pair would do me well, However they only do sizes from 8 to 14  I am  size 6 small feet  possble a size 7 with thick winter socks on which would do okay, I wonder if USA sizes are so much different to the Europeon sizes, they would be expensive getting them over here, Belgian Customs would want a fair cut they always do, I wonder if they sell them in Europe, They look great for the job

Lokking again on the Bogs site i think a size 8 would fit okay but they do not give an address or email to contact them, Not even a City so i can look up the Code from Belgium to phone them any ideas

I use rubber wading boots. Stylish, no?

by beetree on 06 October 2010 - 16:10

Ninja, yes it is very wet today! I am wearing them right now, and I have very happy feet. The neoprene upper part is almost like a built-in sock. No hiss yet, but I'll let you know.  (And you are such a naughty boy, no secrets please!)

Ramage, you should check out the complete ladies line, they even have pretty cowboy type boots, too!

Steve, here is the sizing chart and an online dealer locator. Shop around, lots of those sites are giving discounts... (I got 10% off myself...

Hi Beetree,

Not to hijack your thread but this is for Steve1.

You might want to try these boots. We have been using them for over 10 years now the one's we use are the "Mucktster" which is great for cleaning pens and gardening. They come in a size men's 4 to a size 14.

The newest one my husband uses is called the "Wellie Ranch" it's a boot. He wears it out and about and it's even worn around oil and cleans right up. It comes in a size men's 7 to a size 14.

These can be found on Amazon.com and might be better choice for where you live Steve as the rates and customs will be different. Here is the company's web page here in the US.

These aren't as pretty as Beetree's but they are practicle and are long wearing too.
