Please say it isn't so...maggs on no here we go again.....As for the dominance I love it ...I love you dogs like this I have a female now that is one of best dogs I have ever owned and she was like that as a pup and got much more dominate as she got older , fine with me but hard as nails in protection and as hard a female as there is. I stopped her early with the dog aggression and at 12 or 14 weeks she was so aggressive to other dogs. I had an older male and between him and myself we cured that, she will take up for herself but she isn't starting it now LOL. The peeing thing only gets worse the more testosterone he gets.. Enjoy him he sounds like a keeper In my opinion stop the dog aggression or food aggression now and he should be a real nice dog to work.

"However if you put it on here just to give the Guys a bit of a Laugh then here is one who is not joining in the laughing bit The Pup will grow and the habit will grow with him and Dogs being Dogs if you let them get away with one thing they will try something else to escalate it, But its your Dog for you to do as you will
Steve1"    Where is this coming from Steve1? I did not post this up for  a laugh, nor am i letting him get away with this. I posted for some advise, I love this puppy and want to do what is best for him, i plan on keeping him for life and do not want a unruly bossy dog. i take this matter very seriously.

Handsome fellow, now for a little common sense. You should not be waiting for anything, you mentioned Coccidia. The pecking order, you must give him attention when it is his turn, and not favor him above the rest. It sounds minor but it's not. When he trys to steal food remove him to another location and feed him separately from the other dog or dogs. With a strong verbal correction. He is too young for a leash correction. Biting to a pup is playful learning and not always a bad thing, stealing food is. Getting between you and the other dog is a good thing in one sense but you must show him he is not the favorite, he should only get equal treatment again when it is his turn, not first but after your other dogs. You could be making him more posessive by favoring him, spending too much time on the one instead of spreading it around, he's very impressionable at this age. You set the rules. Socializing covers a lot of situations and he needs a lot of it. Taking him to a class is only as good as the person teaching.... be very careful in this area. I would rather see him being socialized at this age and allowed to be a puppy. Bond and use positive reinforcments at this age, use verbal corrections along with a leash and make him sit when he gets out of hand. You go to the class and then take what you learn home to him, don't let someone else do things to him if you do not understand what they are doing. Use your own common sense if you have any, no bash intended. Moons.

Moons you  hit the nail on the head.Ii did not mean to favor him,now that you mentioned it i do,because of him coming from a shelter I  tend to give him way more attention. This morning he tried to eat out of my females bowl I said in a stern voice NO and stood between them,at lunch he did not go near her bowl. We already paid for his puppy classes, when the classes are done i may get a personal trainer for him. I will see how he does. he is a very quick learner and I do like the way he investigates everything, I also love his prey drive. This pup loves play ball I throw it he will bring it back I tell him drop it he does.  I wish I knew his parents, this pup is very special

Most problems are minor and very basic at this age, a smart dog will make it easy, you just have to think it through a bit sometimes before you act. I think he's gorgious, and you say he's smart, I think you have a keeper myself.

That my friend is an English Phase, However you will find out soon enough  if you do not stop him now, and you do not need to be cruel to any Dog to do it just firmess and a bit of patience,
Rugers says he is like her Dog But then i think Ruger has or did have  a problem with her Dog and i think it older than your Pup, If you give a Dog an inch it will take a yard from you that is fact, until it knows who is boss and who is not and we all know it is best to teach them young that applies to any species
