To, All the Gsd lovers and exhibiters in india.. You exhibiters are the foundation and the very reason there is GSD club in india.

1.There is no harm in having another Gsd club in India, China has 2.

2. Comittee has been dissolved coz one of their senior member has accused in the ring and in front of whole indian gsd exhibitors that they have changed the judge at  the last moment and the show is fixed.

3. Comittee has again been dissolved coz the secretary has poor accounting knowledge, can't even show a small account of books.

4. They are shameless enough not to resign even after so many public accusations. one senior member resigns and secretatry doesn't accept, they play cheap politics. who do they think they are a political party?,  shame on these people.

5. Ultimately this club has proven that it is weak, and it can't run. so why not a new one.

6. New club, New rules, open to all indian  Gsd enthusiasts to become members and not anyone's personal property to take in members.

7. Stop accusing old club "ITS A FAILURE"............and iam sure everyone has numerous reasons to prove it.

8. WE HAVE DECIDED TO CONDUCT A MEETING ON 4th OF SEPTEMBER AT PARADE GROUNDS HYDERABAD.  we will make all arrange and all Gsd Exhibitors, Gsd Breeders and Gsd enthusiasts are invited.

9. complete information of this meeting will informed in the further post, information will be sent even to kci and we will also have media present

10. We can discuss on all the aspects a GSD club's needs, functioning, membership, improvements etc..

WE LOVE OUR COUNTRY, WE LOVE OUR GSDS.... LETS FIGHT IN LIGHT............JAI HIND.

The fact that there is an 'internal revolt' in Indias' GSD 'system' is NOT at all a surprise for all those who know what has been the scene in the past 12 years or so...most and I included would suggest that it is a welcome situation. However there are two aspects that should be considered by all involved, if the 'new begining' is to be an improvement on the status quo and indeed a basis for building a real foundation for generations to come.

Before getting into the points, it is appropriate to point out that many countries have been in similar situations in the past 10-15 years and have been 'split' with two GSD 'mother' clubs; each seeking to have exclusive recognition by the SV and WUSV respectively. Ones that come to mind are Turkey and Ukraine, so dont feel bad or guilty...its part of evolving into a better state.

Now then, on the one hand we have the Administration and on the other we have the Active Enthusiasts of the breed; One can not function to full potential if the other is not operating correctly and visa versa.

When we look at the people involved in rearing, training, showing and breeding the GSD in India, we quickly come to realize that the vast majority have not the best interest of the breed (some will take this the wrong way, but others will take these words for exactly what they are):

1/ Breeding of females for the first heat can only be an accepatble practice by those looking to profiteer rathen then improve
2/ Males put to stud as early as they can 'mount' a female are also used by owners who must fall into the same catagory
3/ 'Breeders' who use imported males to stud their females and then in order to avoid paying stud fees register the puppies born with their own males can only be described as CRIMINAL.
4/ 'Breeders' who use imported males to stud their female who does not concieve then register another 'bunch of puppies from anywhere as the puppies born also can be only described as CRIMINAL.
5/ Breeders who will mate their female on every single heat for the sake of selling puppies can not be considered as people interested in the wealfare of the breed.
6/ Breeders who bring to shows underaged puppies to sell who have not even been vaccinated can only be described as CRIMINAL to both the puppies and the would be buyers...not to mention the Clubs who stand by and watch this go on.
7/ Breeders who will sell puppies who have serious breeding faults to new-commers as breeding potentials are also CRIMINAL. These puppies should be endorced 'NOT SUITABLE FOR BREEDING' and sold as PETS.
8/ Dog owners who are happy to house their dogs in transport boxes, should NOT be encouraged to own GSD's.

The list can go on and on but the above is factual and those who will be honest about the situation MUST do somethings to rectify this.
As we now come to the Administration, because through identifying the problems and pinpointing the areas where regulation is vital can the administration place regulatory measures which will be adheard and followed by all.
Over and above regulations to 'police' the above apprehenders (and punish with serious fines and exclusions), the administration, can look to neighbouring countries (China) for assistance in the Schemes of DNA,HD, and ED.
It is for sure that Veterinarians will have to accept to be trained for the special ways in carrying through the x-ray process as required, but will then be appointed as the veterinaries to act on behalf of the GSD club.
It is high time that a minimum of working education, be mandatory for the breed in order for males and females to be recognised as breed and breeding worthy. It can begin with the way the Scandinavian system started some 20 years ago where by obedience and a character test as well HD (No ED or...

...DNA at that time) was mendatory for a dog to achieve KKL1.

Then gradually as people and trainers become more aquainted with the details of SchH, and following several seminars promoted by the GSD club, there maybe the introduction of SchH and full blown KKL in India.

The roads are there, they are all very well documented and much International reference points available; IF THERE IS TRUE WILL TO FALL IN LINE. Otherwise there will be much more of the same and the same excuses from now on too.

I should also add though; that 'break-a-way' clubs are not the advisable way to go about the problem, as it is time consuming and NOT viewed favourably.

It is best to 'repair' and restructure the existing 'organization'.
