 Request to all to post your opinions and your views about the formation and running of the GSDCI in future.

Let me put my views
1. Formation of Zones and sub zones just like OG and LG in Germany,Encourage GSD lovers to become members of the GSDCI,Select 2 knowledgeable members from each sub-zone in the core committee they function as breed wardens and would be available for advice to novices on breeding and rearing,Each Zone has 4 sub zones in all their would be 16 sub zones and each sub zone has specialty show.The Sieger has to be in top placings in  at least 3 of 16 specialty shows.Every 2 years the committee changes the Secretary and President through election's and candidate for President and secretary selected from different zones.All the members get right of Voting and not just Core Committee members.All this would incur expenditure and the members should co-operate by giving a life membership fees for eg Rs 2000-2500,if we have good number of members the cost can come down and also it would be easier for the proper functioning of the GSDCI.

These are my personal opinions,since we have this opportunity now the KCI should now think in this direction about reformation of GSDCI.Their would always be so many things to improvise on but forming the GSDCI is the first priority.

I am agree with you shree but when Duryodhan is a dictetor,nothing can happend.When peon and watchman,swiper,licker are the member of commitee,what you can expect from them.I feel soory for the person like D. Krushnamurti,who also part of it.He left his dignity for the pressident post and join with them.Does he really need that?He's the one who is getting help from the KCI to manipulate the show for GSDCI.

 I would request members who are on this forum and who are close to KCI officials to ask the KCI officials to make an appeal for new  memberships  for GSDCI by printing a GSDCI membership form in IKG and accept new members in following 2 months and have a election after 2 months.
The suggestion for the membership fee as 2000-2500 was to involve more and more members coming in the GSDCI if it is high it would be difficult but Mr Lionheart as you rightly said it could be Rs 5000-7000,These fees should be utilized for conducting the shows so that no Secretary,President spends money from his pocket and then expects some favors from the Judges and at least some politics will be controlled.Once the GSDCI is formed not only the shows should improve but steps should be taken to improve the breed such as starting vet training facilities for taking hip/elbow radiographs such Vets can apply for license to the SV after qualifying for same, after getting such license the GSDCI can submit such X-rays to the SV for opinion and stamps.Sch and Korung will take some time but definitely should be next step in improvisation.I do not object to any Person being President,Secretary as long as they are willing to progress in Right direction.

LET US ALL GSD LOVERS STOP FIGHTING AND THINK CONSTRUCTIVELY AND JOIN OUR HANDS FOR IMPROVEMENT OF THIS MAGNIFICIENT BREED GSD THATS A HUMBLE REQUEST !!!!!
