We bought Echo her first wading pool today.  She was a little tentative at first but then she had a blast even going as far as sticking her head underwater to retrieve her favorite rock.  Yes, she has a pet rock.  We would buy a larger pool but I don't think we could afford to keep filling it.  She played so hard she was stumbling and we had to make her get out so we could empty it.  She has spent most of the rest of her day sound asleep.  See some of her antics at...

We bought the same pool today!  ( After going to 4 major chain stores, ands watching the last one leave under a lady's are at a local hardware store, we finally got the last one on the shelf at a hardware store in another nearby small town.  Wow!  Who'd a thunk it would be so hard to find a small pool?  Soon as I filled it, the youngest dog got in and  squatted down and peed in it.  :(

It's been in the 90's the last 3 days and even tho Echo is an indoor dog, I wanted her to have a pool.  We found hers at Wal-Mart.  They just had a few of this size left, but several of the larger ones with the built in slide.  Kinda wish I'd gotten the bigger one now.  We put about 6 inces of water in it and by the time she was worn out it had maybe an inch left in it.  Echo never did lie down in it but she got soaked just the same.  She's ready to have a go at it again.

Taco looks like he had a good time as well.

luv, sorry to hear it was so difficult to find a pool but glad you made the extra effort.  Too funny the youngest had to pee in it. What could she be thinking?

I gotta share this one pic. My girl has had her pool for two years. Actually has one the size bigger but its to hard to dump the water out so I went back to the smaller one. Last weekend the grandkids were over and destroyed the pool with dirt, grass, and dandelions. You can see the look of disgust on Xtra's face.

Trailrider,

Thanks for sharing and poor Xtra!  That truly is a look of disgust!  She looks like she is saying "Oh, maannn, why'd ya go and do that for?"  Hopefully all you had to do to fix it was spray it out with the garden hose.

LOL! Yeah it cleaned up no problem, they gotta get cleaned out every few days anyway or build up green algae. She sure thought that was pretty gross though, spoiled puppy.
