This is a awesome database and a great tool but How do we keep it accurate when people steal other peoples photos to respresent their dog???
There is a male by the name of Gorro z Elbu that has my dog,Urs vd Gansebruckes photo. This is a copyrighted photo that they took. I'm not sure how we can keep this from happening but there should be some accountability.Maybe people should have to list their full names&e-mail address, only to be seen when logged in and clicking on that dogs info.I wouldnt mind,I have nothing to hide when adding photos or info about a dog.I have written to the webmaster explaing this photo is NOT Gorro but my dog,Urs,and sent many photos of other dogs standing in the same spot and I get nothing.
How do I get this photo removed?

Gorro z Elbu  Are you saying this is not Gorro?  Can you  prove it is your dog not Gorro ...???Post your pic under this and name the dog ..The owner of this dog is not in the pedigree under   History???  I don't see  a copyright.  If you put your curser on the picture, it says   Gorro z Elbu???

Sure does look like the back ground in several of your pictures in your photo gallery.  I have no idea what you need to do but I wish you luck in getting it taken care of.  The nerve of some people.

Yes,thats exactly what Im saying.Ive owned Urs since 2005 and this is one of the 1st pics I ever took after he got here. This is taken in front of my horse arena at my former residence in Roy,WA.Putting you cursor over the name and getting Gorro's name means nothing. You can click on a photo, save it and rename whatever you want. All photos on my site are copywrited, some even have watermarks but,if they can be removed by photoshopping and people can get around "no-right clicks" too..its not hard if you know your way around a computer.Im not sure how to put photos on the message board,I dont often post messages.PM me at DDRdogz@aol.com and I can send you the same pic.

Email Oli ..  his email is at the bottom of the page here. click and it takes you right to your email...copy and paste this thread link and your complaint..

Copyrighting pics doesnt prevent anyone copying and pasting on a forum...See copyright laws.   If this person uses it to make money or for his/her monitary gain, you can file a lawsuit , far worth more than  a picture he ./she stole and put up as his/hr dog...    Oli may tell you who it is or he may just remove it from  GORRO...YOU ARE GONNA HAVE TO PROVE YOUR CASE TO OLI...FIRST..

http://www.pedigreedatabase.com/gsd/pedigree/450353.html  If you click on siblings under Gorro  you find several sisters or brothers and a person  named    Lee  put the change history up.on the first one.../..click    change history under each dog..  I only did one.   Maybe    Lee   can shed some light on where Gorro's owner is???????

MAYBE THE OWNER  OF       GORRO  Z ELBU WILL COME FORTH.....I WILL PERSONALLY PM YOU AND TELL YOU A LITTLE TRICK.

You are very perceptive DebiSue,many of the photos in my photo Gallerys were taken in the same spot, in front of my arena.
On Page 1 of my Photo Gallery, scroll down on the left is Dargo and Vicky( cursor held over pic will tell whos in the photo) taken in front of the same gate in the "Gorro" photo, the pic to the right of them is a Dargo daughter also taken in front of the arena, above them abit to the right is my daughter with her dog Darlin in the snow, taken when I was just building the arena. On page 2 theres a photo of Unit Gymor to the left of gate of arena in said photo, before I finished staining the boards.Below that and to the right a photo of a bi-color Dargo daughter tied to that gate.On Dargos page,in the 3rd row of pics is a nice head shot of him in the same place. These are just small examples and arent the ones I sent to the webmaster, those pics were very clearly at the same location.Unfortunately those are on a old PC that crashed and I havent taken it in yet to get the pics off of it.
I guess I should think "hey, imitation is the best form of flattery, righ?" But,no...its just stealing .Maybe Gorro is butt ugly but,I doubt it,Ive had Edy pups and they were nice looking pups.I just think the owner is Lazy and didnt feel like trying to get a good photo and there ought to be a way to make people that post  wrong info on the dogs, accountable.
