What lines are known for producing weak ears in the West German Showlines and East German Lines? If you have a litter where half of the litter has weak ears does that mean you wouldn't breed either parent anymore or you would just not do the breeding again?

I wouldnt do that breeding any more..Change the stud or the bitch , which ever you own...Happened to me when I bred the Orthos v Tiekerhook grandson to my main Busecker Schloss female who had already had two litters with Konig, and never had an ear that was not securely firm .

The pups in both Zu and her daughter, Bali, had half a litter of   flutter ears..they stood fine, but fluttered in the run...Called

'SOFT EARS"

Never bred with that stud again. Never had that problem ever again..Just was not a good mating.

I had that happen earlier this year 2 out of 7 pups have soft ears. I would not do that mating again.
