Has anyone ever used this company? Are they reliable?

Need to ship 6 month old GSD from Nashville, TN. to Miami, FL.

Any suggestions?????

Thanks

Debbie

Find a company that specializes in shipping dogs. Most airlines in the U.S. do and there are others. This is not a company I have ever heard of. It might be ok, maybe not. I would recommend checking carefully. You don't want a dog who is lost, injured, or becomes ill, or worse.

Heat restrictions are on now. so finding a Airline that will fly a pet when the temperature is over 85° is awful hard to do.

This is a company that sends your request to registered users.  Any Joe can register to ship anything, you can't be sure your dog will get to its destination, unless you are lucky and a real experienced and licensed shipper contacts you.

My suggestion is to ship VIP cargo which means the dog is shipped counter to counter versuses sitting in the cargo department at the airport hours before being released, in this time of year VIP is best, however considerably more expensive.

Good Luck.

Like the person before me mentioned, they are not a company.

I have used them to find a ride for a horse in an emergency at one point and did make a great connection that now does most of my hauling for me. The one good thing is that there is lots of feedback from users. But I would be more than careful and do my research very carefully.

I did at one time see if I could get a rescue transported and actually did find the folks willing to co-load quite well educated and what appeard to be reliable. However, their quote was absolutly non workable for me.

I'm curious Debbie,

What would you concider a fair price to take a dog from Tenn. to Fla. ?    I may know a way.

Your from Pulaski?    I hope your not that awful Worsham woman who has ripped off so many people including me.

I plan on visiting the area later this summer.

Brent.

Hi Brent,

No I'm not Debbie Worsham. She actually died 1 year ago in March. They found her dead in her house, she had been there for 4 days. The sad part was one of her Shepherds was in there with her.

The male needs to go to Miami.  Shipping with a large crate including crate and health certificate was going to cost him $500. thru Delta. That was before the heat restriction was on. What would you charge?

Try American Airlines.

They don't have a summer restriction as long as you can get the dog on a flight and every stop is under 85 degrees. I'll be shipping a pup from NM later this month and they told me what flight to use as it requires a layover in Dallas. Very early in the morning of course. It will work unless a freak heat-wave hits then it will have to be another day that's cooler.

Debbie, Thats very sad about the dog, I figure it was the bitch she called Sable. I hope someone took both of her dogs to a better place. The woman was her own worst enemy and I dont have any sympathy for her. Sad as it sounds. I have a friend in Nashville who travels to the key's often. All I could do is call him. Now that gas is so high it might be cheaper to fly. I know he has a nice van air conditioned, he's an up right guy who hauls shrimp I believe up north to bars and restaurants. He'd be empty going down and would probably be willing for the price of gas. Probably doesnt sound like your cup of tea, it was just a thought. Brent.
