Xeph

Good thing I'm not entering an SV show then, huh Molly?  We've been having a nice discussion, and I'd like to keep it that way.

For an American-line, she's not THAT bad. I've seen horribly worse structured ones. I thought Xeph and Eichenluft were friends...Thinking

I have long time friends in the dog world that have a different opinion on the GSD than me. I'm not going to let that affect a friendship.

Just from pics and compared to Am. s/l only, I think the dog is good. Xeph is apparently doing something she enjoys very much, doesn't try to tell anyone else what they should do or what a good job the AKC/GSDCA has done for the GSD. I don't agree with the Am. dog at all, but have no problem wishing her well.

Quoted for Truth.  Thank you much :)

I have no delusions about my AmLines doing "real work" and the ones that do do "real work" are few and far between.  But I still think they make great pets, can make great performance dogs, and they fit well in the lifestyle that I have.

Lucky me has a waiting list for her first litter.  It's a year away, so of course people could back out in that time, but these are people that have met my dogs and want one from me.  I don't consider that a bad thing.

When people met my dogs at the dog show in Philly, many people fell in love with Strauss, many fell in love with the American girls I had in attendance (particularly Mirada), and many fell in love with working line Mahler.  I had inquiries on litters from all of them, in varying combinations, LOL

Mana's 5 Cents for Advice Marcato "Wesson" did me proud today in Erie, PA.  She went winner's bitch and best of winners for her first point under Kenneth "Chip" Rayner Jr!   Wesson is bred by and co owned with my dear friend Catherine, and trained, conditioned, and handled by myself :)

And I still like her just as much.  Teeth Smile  Congrats, Xeph--she's definitely one of the better AmLines bitches in the game, and though I don't know you, you do seem to value temperament and workability as well as appearance, so I trust she's stable, steady, smart and willing as well as pretty.  Good job.
