Why are some dogs in pedigrees removed???

Does anyone know why I fill in a pedigree for my dog, just to have someone remove some of the ancestry?

This site is a place to share information and list pedigrees, so why would people delete pedigrees and this information.

I think it's very stupid!!!! Will someone answer why please??

verysimple. the owner of the dogs does not want to have her dogs listed here. this is what has been discussed already. it is a pity but you can´t help it.

Hi Cynthia, don't you think an open pedigree registry should be available to everyone? Why are the reasons someone doesn't want their dogs pedigrees on here? Are they trying to hide something? It helps people in their breeding programs and that information should be public domain since there are ancestors from them here. I cannot remember the discussion on here... Geez, this dog world is so "bitchy"... strange that I should go to all that trouble to add dogs in my dog's pedigree - just for someone to remove them! It's RUDE.... just my opinion, as always...

i know but as far as i know it is only one breeder who deletes her dogs. but since she is breeding for a long time, a lot of dogs are removed and all their offsprings pedigree become incomplete....

Brooke, I find this very STUPID and SILLY, this breeder is just showing poor and childish character!!!
Cynthia, can you tell me which breeder it is? Her/his name should be put here OFFIICIAL ;-)))

i am not saying names, but if you look at the dogs which are being removed over and over again, then you will know ;-)

But why was Nicky of White Mountain Austria and Mansha`s Mankota Keswick removed???
That doesn´t make any sence to me - I have also somebody suspected doing this...

The most dogs are missing from the kennel vom Werntal... Basko of the white stars..and so on.
I take a pedigree in this database with the name Basko not FCI...so you don´t can read the kennelname but a person edit the name again... I don´t understand this

The breeder breed with the dogs, i buy the dogs WITH a pedigree and so it is not ok she delite the names of MY dog pedigree!!!!

I write do the webmaster of this page but i wait of an answer....5 month ago lol

@nicole: sadly enough, but you won´t get an answer.... it is a shame that they have fun deleting names in pedigrees... they should stop breeding, if they don´t want to have dogs names listed...
