you are right! I just took a look at the sire. And look at his older offspring. He must have sired them when he was not even a year old!

DNA test should be done for the black sire of this litter, because this male carries "dominant black gene", as his owner said (he-he). Look at the progeny of this black male and his litterbrothers - all of them produce black pups in combinations with black and tan females without black gene. How is it possible? Who knows... Mystery of russian breeding :-)

Yes, beautiful female with great pigment. But I do not believe for one minute that she produced black offspring! That is against the known genetic regulations in our breed. If I were one of the owners of the black offspring, I would insist on DNA testing!
