Groß, kraftvoll, sehr kräftiger Kopf, maskulin, ausdrucksstark, sehr gute Gebäudeharmonie mit sehr guter Ober- und Unterlinie, fast korrekte Front, ausgeprägter Widerrist, etwas abfallende Kruppe, sehr gut gewinkelt in der Vor- und Hinterhand, freies Gangwerk bei losen Ellbogenschluß. TSB ausgeprägt; läßt ab. VI. Geeignet zur Verbesserung der Gebäudeharmonie, des Ausdrucks und des Pigments. Auf korrekte Front ist zu achten.

I think things must be more easy than only considering numbers; this is a 9 years old male and there "must" be some progeny that can reveal the HD grade he transmit. This can tell us the real value of this male. Zlatko in Argentina has many beautiful sons and its true that some of them are not normal. Considering the excellent pedigree, the HD grade of Zeppo progeny, each one can take conclutions. Ill appreciate if some body can mention how many sons he had and how many of them are normal; the ones that appear in this page have no HD diagnostic.

Many people do not realize that HD and ED is very much environmentally influenced. Do your homework!
Also, Zeppo is Degenerative Myelopathy FREE.

Zeppo is a super dog.The zw score is bogas. If a males pups are not reg with the sv his score goes up.I have never had nor heard of a zeppo pup having a hip or elbo problem.If he was bred as many times as his brother Zlatko, you would see pups as good or better. Look at Zlatko v Arminius progeny pic see the great dogs he is producing.zeppo's lines go great with Enzo, Dux della valcuvia.What a shame and a waste that people breed dogs for the wrong reasons.Just take a look at what is coming out of Zeppo's brother.I'm looking for females out of Enzo and Dux lines to breed to Zeppo.

This male has seemed to do well, and has been bred to a good number of females, it seems; however touching on the previous comment on the hip situation; check carefully on his pedigree, some poor hip ratings on both sides! Would only use female with top exc. hip rating and only if her pedigree has ALL good rated hips throughout! Anything less might be playing with fire; could possibly produce poor hips, or problems of such in the litter! Anyone breeding must do their research; know the dogs,their lines, hip rating/ZW Nr., etc. This is vital to producing healthy and sound dogs. GSD BREEDER

Not a good hip situation. Mother is A3 and ZW 104. Father is A2 and 86. The dog himself is A1 and ZW 98. You'd need a low hip numbered bitch.

zeppo is a wonderful dog, was shown in ct,USA and went V-2 behind Alex v Farbenspiel,under herr knaul,Zeppo was in front the whole time,judge said some very good things about him.very very good pigment,super red,very good coat, very good dog to breed to.many people thought he should have won.
