@GSDMomma2. I'd be interested in knowing what skin you have in this game. How are you connected? This is your only contribution on all of PD and this thread was started the day you joined. @Kimmelot brings up some valid points.

Before this turns into a lynch mob against GSDMomma

She has no skin in the game.

She knew others who have lost dogs from this episode of Parvo.

The Post was about a breeder, could have been any other breeder, who hid the facts of parvo and sold puppies that were exposed, who had people over for training on the property with the outbreak and went to shows exposing so many more.

Take time to read the whole thread not just the title.

So let us not try to blame somebody for doing the right thing by bringing facts to light.

Yes there are many ways to get parvo but to hide the fact and expose so many other dogs that is the problem

I had a gal contact me today. She was wondering if I had a MW parvo puppy as I commented on another post on the MW site. This is what she sent me when I asked how the puppy was doing.

He survived, and went to another home- sold by Julie to another family who she probably didn’t inform about the parvo. There’s going to be a story on her tonight onChicago cbs channel 2

https://www.facebook.com/cbschicago/videos/10156553060788338/

The news story doesn’t expose enough, bc some of the evidence couldn’t be used bc she denied it and the witness chickened out. But I’m hoping this gives courage to more families to speak up.

She has since found another puppy from a different breeder.

Believe EVERYTHING NEGATIVE you hear about these disgusting people!! Not only do they lie about the Parvovirus on their property, but, the living conditions of those sweet dogs are terrible and unforgivable!! Those poor dogs living their lives out in crates, left there for 12-16hrs in their own urine and feces is heartbreaking!! These people have to be punished for this. I don’t care HOW legal it is, it doesn’t make it right!!

And, anyone even attempting to defend them, obviously haven’t been there, so can KISS MY SWEET ASS!! I have witnessed this FIRSTHAND!!

My apologies, members, I am ashamed to say that I lied in my last post...

Those Mittelwest crated dogs are left
22 HOURS IN THEIR CRATES, IN THEIR OWN URINE AND FECES!!!

I purchased Levi (my German Shepherd) to be trained as a service dog. I needed a well bred dog to be solid in nerves and health. When Levi came down with Parvo it broke my heart and I thought that I was going to lose him. People don't know the whole story because there was a time restraint on this report. I will say that Julie knew that Levi had Parvo because I let her know right away ( I called her from the exam room at the vet office). So when she stated that after the quarantine was lifted and no other dogs got Parvo, she lied. This can happen to any breeder that I understand. But, to know about Parvo being on your property and knowing of Levi having it I want to make sure no one else goes through this. Julie has agreed to pay me back half of my purchase price (so far I've received $1000.00 and she is to pay the remaining $1000.00 in May) due to the fact that I had to be the hospital for Levi, I had to be the vet at home. (Julie stated that I could bring Levi to her for treatment, not going to happen or I could do it at home because in hospital care was too expensive) I was the one poking him with needles every single day for 17 days. I was the one that had to syringe feed him. I was the one giving sub q fluids 2-3 times a day because he wouldn't drink. I was the one that had to shove pills down his throat. I was the one that laid awake worried that he may not make it through the night. I was the one that had to listen to him cry in pain. I was the one that had to disinfect our whole house so my other dogs wouldn't get anything. So don't for one minute tell me that I have a vendetta again Julie or her kennel because I don't. I just want her to be up front and making sure that every puppy/dog that leaves her property is in good health so this doesn't happen to anyone else. Don't lie about this. Own it, fix it and move on from it. And, as far as a false positive there is no chance of that. Levi had all the symptoms of Parvo and the test turned positive way before the 8 minutes was up. I think it took about a minute or two to turn positive.

I will also add that Levi was not even 8 weeks old when we picked him up.  Tomorrow he turns 3 months old.

Scot Freeman, you can kiss your own ass man. I am going not to defend Julie but tell MY experience visiting their facility for stud service: clean beautiful awesome facilities which every breeder would dream of. Grant was very professional helpful and I had overall very pleasant experience.
All this BS about Parvo sound like nasty customers want free puppy by demanding refunds from Julie. It well known "sick puppy" scam spreaded in USA.
All lists here must be brought to justice to deter them from doing so. Anyone who will dare post here offences , slander or evasive statements will be brought to courts - I sware and YOU be aware

Olivia Dae, there's an old saying from the early days of the Internet:

"Your mileage may vary."

Your experience is just that--yours. I would expect that a kennel which was expecting a visitor coming to have a female bred to their stud dog would be sure to put their best face on for that visitor.

Other people--a fair number of them, it appears--have had vastly different experiences. Theirs are no less valid just because the experiences weren't the same as yours.

Also, slander is the term that applies to things that are spoken, not things that are written or published--the latter would be libel, IF the things published were not true. The truth is considered to be a sufficient defense to the charge of libel, however.

Who is 'Olivia Dae' to threaten to bring ANYTHING 'to courts' anyway ? SHE could not raise a libel suit against anyone for libel / defamation of MW kennel, it isn't her being written about !
