Blitzen, I wish your friends would add more pictures of Berta.
There are some really nice herding pictures on the database uploaded by members
CH (Canada) Brownhill-Kysarah's New Quest (American Show Line) Dam born : 29. April 2005

CH (CAN) Brownhill-Kysarah's New Quest

I would suggest people take advantage of the galleries where you can place a stacked picture, and several working and /or actions shots, along with a head shot.

This another nice mover, the Australian Shepherd (An American Breed)
MULTI JCH Halloween Haunted Doll Of Crystal Lake
DollI have a siberian Husky I Really Like, but I don't think it is in the database.

Always the back foot reaches past the front like you said! Toplines usually straight, or with very slight arch/sag (Slight)

I think Berta may not still be alive, but I'll see what I can find out. Her owners may read here sometimes, not sure. Did you see the photos of her progeny? I love it that they train and titles their dogs in HGH, IPO, advanced obedience, temperament tests, a GSDCA PAM, etc.. Their daughter, my friend, has 2 other breeds, they are mostly AKC CH's with all sorts of OB and agility titles. A real dog family.   It takes alot of devotion and work to do all of that with any breed.

I think that's a beautiful ASL herding.Looks like she might have Dallas not to far back in her pedigree. Sunny may know.

Teeth Smile...One of my biggest regrets is not ever trying to find a dog sired by Dallas out of a German dam assuming there ever was such a breeding. If there wasn't, there should have been I think. Is she related to your bitch, SS?

I just took another look at the Aussie, another great mover. Beautiful dog too.

Blitzen, Dallas is Star's grand-father on her mom's side. On her dad's side, her grandfather is Ursus.

Very proud of my girl today. She took her first stick hits on the sleeve. The decoy wasn't just tapping her, either. She hung on like a trooper, and from her body language, it looked like the hits were pissing her off!

I wish I'd started her in schutzhund earlier, but I heard so much negative stuff about it, plus she was a service dog. Then when I did start, the trainer thought it wasn't a good idea to do protection work with her. He didn't think she had what it took. I am very happy to see her prove him wrong, BUT she is 7 already, and that is the reason I decided to do a co-own on the working line bitch, who will be having a litter before the year is over.

As for the Brownhill bitch, I've had an eye on that kennel for awhle. I really like the look of some of the dogs they are producing!

BTW, does anyone know what Leistungssieger means? (One of the titles for the dog Onix that was posted above.)

That sounds like a nice pedigree, SS. I never saw Ursus, did have some close contact with 2 Ursus sons, very lovely males with impeccable temperaments. Good luck with the IPO training.
