Have YOU been there; how are you so sure of your FACTS?

All I know is what I have read here on this forum and I do not know any of the people.  I did have to look at a map to find out where it is and did look at the news clips so I can form my own opinions, whether right or wrong.

First of all there is no such word as worthful.  Second, if they have no worth  why is he showing them and intending to breed them?  If he is" the proud owner of nice pets; and hopefully giving them a nice home"; why is he not neutering them?  Neutering is the thing to do with pets now; almost everyone does it.  I never did before, I just kept them apart at the proper times but neutering makes for a much nicer pet. Now all my animals are neutered.

 

Doesn't anyone have spellcheck?  Not that I am completely error free but I proofread and have a rudimentary ability to spell and use the correct verbiage. Some times it seems as though 3rd graders are writing. It makes my eyes hurt.

 

Maybe we should write in German? Way easier for me, but I´m pretty sure than it seems as though 1rd graders are writing...

About the "facts" - maybe you should reread the whole thread, sometimes older ladies tend to overread or even to forget some stuff ( just a joke, in case you don´t understand my 3rd grade writing "GSD Oldtimerlady" ).

Out of topic right now, but I don´t like neutering dogs, as long as there is no medical reason.

Not out of topic - you don´t seem to know much about THE WORTH of German Shepherd dogs - that´s no fault, but in that case you shouldn´t judge about worth or not.

Bravo Susie, again they worry more about misspelled words then these poor dogs.
Once again and hopefully for the last time. Embroh is a pet .DV tried to show him.that doesn't mean he's not a nice dog.at 6 years old and very good in OB, and bite work, Frank is having fun with him.He isn't breeding him.Dante on the other hand and once in good shape could be shown.that's what DV and Manny wanted for him.Even though Manny is the owner.but there are more things that we won't talk about.I just wish some people would not speak about people or things they know nothing about . Let's just leave it at that and wait and see what happens in court.

It's none sense because there are master deflectors here.  Dogs seized in raids, owner surrenders, found on the street, abondoned, whatever are spayed and neutered before going to new homes.  

I do care that these dogs are in a good place.  Don't ever put the words in my mouth that I don't think that is what is most important in this case.  just get off it already.  We know they were not in a good place.  It doesn't excuse EVERYTHING that happened after. 

Yes suzie, in this country they are called raids, when police or agencies come in and take stuff it is a raid.  There are raids for dogs, raids for illegal immigration, raids for drugs, raids for human trafficing, raids for all sorts of things.  We give animal agencies a big of leeway when it comes to these, well because they are animals and not bags of cocaine laying in a locker somewhere.  They have some powers a lot of other agencies don't have and with those powers are some restrictions as well.  

I do not care if they place a dog in foster care.  Many rescues use foster homes as a mean to deal with the large numbers of animals they may have to place at one time.  Many rescues rely on other rescues and their network as well.  

Do you really not understand the spay/neuter situation?  I really, realy can't believe some have trouble understanding why??  I don't care if the dog is worth 25 bucks or 25 thousand.  If it was acquired thru an owner surrender, abandoned, or an SPCA raid, it is to be spayed/neutered before being adopted, in many places that is the law, in some it is not on the books, but an unwritten rule that all reputable rescuse abide by.  There are a lot of dog resellers that peruse craigslist, newspapers or try and perform a raid to get cheap or free dogs under the guise of a "rescue" and then turn around and sell the dog.  25 bucks or 10 thousand doesn't matter.  Deception is wrong.  If this is going to be a precedence that is set, you will see a  backlash against any rescue and more dogs and animals will suffer.  

If a cop suspects you of selling drugs and performs a raid and finds a nice 2014 Ferrari in the garage, there's a reason he can't call a friend of the stations and say, "hey, come pick this up before it gets to impound"  There's a reason when he finds the drugs, he can't divide it up and sell it himself. There's also a reason rescues are not supposed to adopt out intact dogs, place them in anything but foster care till a trial or plea has been reached.

I know 39 dogs are too many for one person to reasonably take care of without a full time staff of many.  I know the conditions they were found in were shit.  I know the dogs should have been removed.  I also know that not a single dog should be in anythinng but a foster home at present unless released by the court pending a trial or plea deal.  I also know that any dog being adopted to a good home should be spayed or neutered before it leaves the shelter.  

You can deflect and try and make this argument about whatever you want, this rescue organization is still as shady as they come.  It's written all over this mess.  I'm not a friend of anybody in this and I certainly don't want any of their dogs. But I can smell a damn rat when it's present and these guys are a pretty big one.  

I have wondered why a thread that had gone silent suddenly reared up just before DV's case is coming up. She sure seems to be working the phones, manipulating some of you to keep funding her defense and publicly attacking the Humane Society. Those of you looking to get her off and get dogs back will you also be giving her a job and place to live cause nothing has changed there. There are people who know much more about this entire situation, who have wisely elected to let the courts hear all the evidence and not debate it on a public forum.

In New York State, IT IS THE LAW, under Agricultue and Markets Law...

THIS PARTICULAR LAW CLEARLY STATES THAT NO TOWN OR COUNTY CAN AMEND THAT LAW...FOR NO REASON...EVERY DOG OR CAT THAT GETS ADOPTED THROUGH 'ANY'AGENCY, MUST BE SPAYED OR NEUTERED  unless their is a medical risk or under age. BUT MUST HAVE AGREEMENT THAT ST AGE OF 6 MONTHS THE DOG WILL BE FIXED. 

    This is really sad that so many think thst this dogs 'usefulness' to the breeding show world is more important than the policy ALL dogs coming thru any rescue,  must be fixed.

    Shit, anyone can go into businesx breeding all sorts of rescue dogs IF this president is set.

sometimes I really wonder how some of these geniuses can come out of the word work and read a post like I wrote and somehow come away with the impression I was defending this Dawn person or wanting her to get any dogs back.  You claim those that know so much more chose to let the courts hear it out, yet there's no shortage of those on here trying to deflect and change the debate every chance they get, GSD39mr included :)

Yes your right, but some of the dogs were owned or co-owned by others, this is why some of these dogs were not spayed or neutered, The shelter gave these people the right to recover there dogs.DV gave a list of these owners or co-owners to the shelter so the dogs were given to them, and not to be spayed or neutered.Why is this so hard to understand.This was not a raid.If anyone of you knew a family were the children were being abused and you contacted the police, and they went to the home and found horrific conditions and abused children,should they just leave and not remove the children.No they act immediately and remove the children.The same way they responded in this case, by removing all animals and putting them in a better and saver place.Why is this so hard for some of you to understand.I know of 2 other breeders that hoard dogs similar but not like this, they have more dogs then anyone should have.And they to don't understand that this is wrong, and that the humane society was wrong removing these dogs,and there is where the problem is.when you become a Hoarder you feel no one can take care of these animals as good as you.Even when there living in despicable conditions.When you don't have money for your rent'or food or bills and every penny goes to try and feed there dogs,then there's something wrong.You need to get help.stop blaming the shelter, stop blaming people that you asked to help you and get the dogs out of the shelter,and stop using your friends to lie for you.Do you honestly think that we don't know the truth, we do and you know it.You had a female bred,you told people that you were taken and your female was never bred , that you were charged a stud fee,you made up lies about the breeder.What happened,you went to the crates and heard puppies, that female that you said didn't get bred had 5 or 6 pups in a crate.How does any breeder not know there female is pregnant and about to give birth.Maybe if the female was taken out of the crate you might have seen this.

Do yourselves a favor forget everyone else they don't matter, realize the mistakes you made and end this, you'll find people might start forgiving you sooner then later.
