Watson, keep in mind that a young pup will be cheaper but it is more of a crap shoot. A six mo. old can tell you much more of what he will be like. There seems to be a wide range in prices that may or may not reflect the quality of the pup, but in the general range of $ 1000-1500 you can get a good pup, depending on your expectations. As for the 6 mo. old green dog, if he is a solid dog with excellent working temperament, hardness, some civil potential, good health and working conformation then you can expect to pay some money. No one gets rid of these dogs for cheap so really be cautious on this one. You really need to have your eyes open on the older green pups. Narrow your search down by knowing exactly what you must have, want to have, and can live without. Find people that have an expertize in your area that have no interrest in what you buy . Good luck P.S. I'm sure their are some solid breeders on this site, just check things out and take your time.

Here is an answer to that one for you doggman... http://www.eurosportk9.com/whydo.asp "....I must be there watching the trainers. By the time the day is over and everyone is fed and put to bed, I am TIRED! It is very hard for me to answer all the emails and phone calls in a timely fashion......"
