Christopher,

I stayed with my sister and walked to the stadium a few miles away.   Never had an issue at all.   There were buses and taxis all over the area.

Paul, too many remember the Sopranos and the references to the Barrens Confused Smile.

Actually Essington is near the  Tinicum Marsh where the Phila mob used to throw bodies in the 60's and 70's.And some people are afraid of Jersey.

LOL. I wonder where Adriana ended up?

The current tracking fields are about I 1/4 hr from host hotel, about 1 hr from stadium, depending on traffic ( I hear they are looking for different tracking)--If first tracks are laid at 6:30 am they go off at 7:30. Means first tracking flight has to be at tracking fields by at least 7am, for leash check and draw. Means leaving at least 5:45am from hotel or 6am if leaving from stadium. Competitors will drive themselves, spectators will go by bus.

If current fields are used, they are a old Dupont fox hunting property, now a Natural Resourse Manangement Area, mainly used for horse events. The whole area is large and medium fields separated by lines of woods, really nice tracking if farmer is negotiated with properly. I have heard that if different tracking fields are found then these fields will become the practice fields

Right now about 20 countries have entered--if each has five teams, they don't, that would be 100 teams--with illness, dropouts and not all countries having five teams, count on about 90 teams.

Steve,  can't stay for that event, but know a few who are going and can ask them to buy that and I'll mail it to you. I assume the catalogs have not been pre-sold.

Actually, they ARE pre-selling the catalog right now,  for pick-up at the event, and you can also order one that won't be shipped to you until after the event. Wonder what happens if someone orders a catalog for pick-up, thinking that they're going to be able to attend, and then something comes up that prevents them from going, though? [Just musing aloud...I expect the organizers can answer that if asked.]
