Hey Paul,
Yes, that was some rough weather for here, even in January.  Usually it's 40 degrees and sunny.  Bernhard is a great guy.

Slam, my wallet was stolen inside the Garden during the dog show. It was a bad year. A few dogs were stolen from their crates, some handlers had their grooming equipment boosted, purses snatched and the vendors lost a lot of their inventory to shop lifters. When I reported the theft to security they only smiled and said - you are one of a thousand today.  Luckily my Amtrak ticket was not in my wallet so I was able to get home. It was years ago, maybe the streets are safer, but the Westminster show never was safe for the dogs or spectators. Hundreds of dog benched in a tiny, hot, crowded area, not good. I won't even tell you what it was like the year we took dogs there during the NYC garbage hauler strike. I didn't know rats grew that big Sad Smile

Hooterville is not in Montana. The elevation is incorrect.

Based on character comments in the third season of Green Acres, Hooterville is not in Kansas, Nebraska, South Dakota, or Indiana. Each of these places is referred to by characters as being somewhere else. Given its elevation of 1,427 feet (as seen on the sign in the railroad station), Hooterville is too low to be in Colorado, Montana, New Mexico, Utah, or Wyoming—and too high to be in Delaware, Florida, Illinois, Indiana, Louisiana, or Rhode Island.[6]

I hope everyone who is attending the WUSV has a great time!

Can't be. I saw it on TV as a kid. It has to be real.

I have been to the host hotel twice, they have undergone a renovation. The hotel is located about 8 minutes south of the airport on what I would call a expressway (Industrial Hwy) that comes right out of the airport, or you can take 95 south to exit 9A turn left on the expressway and hotel is on left. Except during rush hour the road seemed crossable by foot. The other hotels are across the road. I believe the second hotel is right across road then down about a block is a Dennys and right next to them is a Red Roof inn and behind is a Motel Six. I checked out the Motel Six, seems nice and clean, the whole area is kept up. Turn left out of host hotel and road takes you right past stadium, about 8 minutes or so. it will be a couple blocks to your left but well marked. Once you leave the hotel on this route you cross a small bridge and the area becomes not so nice all the way to stadium. According to friend and local policeman, area to be avoided after dark, no hotels down there anyway. From hotel going towards airport is everything, a Irish pub on road and some local eateries off to your right in Essington. Hope this helps

Whoops, getting to the hotel from I 95---exit 9A then Right onto expressway (industrial) hotel is on left.
