Sorry a very reliable source told me they had back luck with Back to Basics;  so not worth upsetting your guys.  Will keep looking for you, so far seems like shit to me.  Sorry but that is how I feel.  What crap they are putting in these poor dogs food;  really frightening for our dogs.  Since the gut is a hugh part of a dogs good health,  this dog food craze is really a scarey thing.  Great days everyone.  Nan

PS:  A close friend has had good luck with the Petcurean "Go" Salmon and has fed it for some time.  They also have some other proteins available.  Maybe??

I too use Blue Buffalo Large Breed Puppy and Roxy does very well on it. 

There is not question for kibble. Orijen is the best food on the market. Grain free, first ten ingredients are animal. 70-80 percent meat. The best food period. I feed my Mal their large breed puppy for a year. Now he gets the three adult formulas rotated each bag. Everything is made in one location. The good is delivered fresh daily. They are a Canadian company and they have all that open pristine land up there. Food is cooked and bagged under one roof. No contacting out. Their bags are vacuumed sealed. Seriously, it's the most meat in kibble. Unless you go raw, feed this! I love it.

do yourself and your dog a favor and give it the raw diet. I recently raised a puppy on raw to adulthood and i can say she is by far the healthiest and happiest dog ive ever raised
