Donna,
My name is Linda Smith with Vom Dortmunder German Shepherds. I was the driver and my Suburan that delivered your dog!!! You couldn't even tell me where you where I took over 2 1/2 hours to get the dog to you. I had drove over 12 hours to get to that place to give you the dog. Christi should have never givin you the dog when you had NO tranport money!!!  I have yet to reieve my portion of the money to deliver the dog to you!! I have know Christi's for over 10 yrs. When you pay her I know I will get my portion. I should have charged extra for the 3 hour behind that you caused me to be late getting to our destination but i did not.  My time is worth alot!!! I also know there is a problem with getting the paper work on the mother because I was w/ Christi when she talked to the seller from Germany regarding the signiture. I had a dog import from Italy a few years ago from a very high class well known breeder and it took me 3 years to get her FCI papers and I had 3 litters out of her, plus a puppies I keep. I did get my papers and AKC register all my puppies. Was very frustrating but sometimes when you have a very nice dog you gotta wait it out. I deal w/some very big kennels in Germany . The German do not get in a hurry to get things done!!

First of all, I  have both working and show lines.  And my working line female is too high drive for me.  I broke my leg very bad
last year and can't compete and title her.  She needs to go to a good home where she can be worked daily and titled !
Just because Adelhaus has  nice dogs and shows them, doesn't make her an honest trustworthy person.

I am not the first person that she did this to.  Go to ripoffreport  to get the whole story.  I know in the end of this mess I will get
her AKC papers.  I agreed to pay her $100 for gas money.  I'm the one that drove over 5  hours each way in the middle of the
night to meet her.  She was on her way to the Sieger Show and did not go out of her way.  She did however get lost and drove
an extra 2 hours supposedly.  She then got mad.  The fact that I paid a certain amount for her is not relavent.

I met her where she said to be, so she wouldn't be going out of her way !  We never discussed how much gas money would be.
Stupid on my part.  When I got home with Farah, she emailed me the next day.  She demanded I pay her $375 for gas ??
The statement she made about me not being able to afford shipping, is bull !   I wanted to get her in person, and yes it was
cheaper to meet her.  So ?   I was a bit weary, so met her in person.  After reading her guarantee, which I've never seen
before.  Part of her wording in her guarantee is about SLANDER and you can't talk about her    blah blah.   Which I thought
is weird.    I paid for a full AKC dog.  Yes I purchased her for breeding and to be part of our family.  I take good care of my
dogs and lvoe them dearly.
She made statements to me that I have to pay her $375 or I will not get her AKC papers.  There is  nothing about an amount
to pay in the guarantee.  She was already going to the exact same spot, and simply brought another dog with her.  I met her
there because she was getting off that highway to another one.
This is all about the money with her.  I had a man contact me when I put the report on ripoffreport and he says the same thing.
She keeps telling people she's waiting for papers.  She said she bred Farah 2 x already and doesn't have  her AKC papers
either !   And this is news to me about a missing signature !    Again, just because she shows dogs does not make her
a truthful person.  I'm getting tired of talking about this matter.  Yes it's just between us.  but if she keeps doing this practice
does that make her a good breeder ?  I have the money to pay her, I just don't trust her at this point to pay her till I do get the
AKC papers, she's holding for ransome !  It doesn't  take that long, since she's already bred her and sold the pups herself.

Girls Girls Girls take it easy i have heard so much trash. If it's like this why do you breed and byers why do you buy from these breeders. All you have to do is ask one question to find out everything you need to know about a breeder or a buyer then you have the option to move on. All this drama dosen't need to happen on here. Beleive me everyone is taking notes. Some people should not buy or sale during that time when the heavens aren't in the right space. I don't know maybe it's the drama you all like.

You are the one that came on here to talk about this.

I think its past your "not wanting to talk about this any longer" You came here to bash this breeder and you have. You must have known that the other party would come here and offer her side.

My question is this.... why breed a dog when you dont have papers in hand? To give you the benefit of the doubt I went to your site and you have pups on the ground that your selling for a good price and you too wont be able to give the paperwork. Your about to be in the same position as the breeder and will either do one of two things. 1. Tell the buyer the papers are coming (which they either will or wont now that you posted this) or 2. Be completely honest with the buyer and hope they will still buy from you.

The bottom line for me is.....you could have walked away from this when she advised you she didnt have the paperwork. You didnt. Not only did you not, you bred the dog and will soon be selling puppies for $1250+ with no papers. Your pointing fingers but really this post doesnt reflect well of you either. I had actually planned on contacting you on the black female you have for sale but I think Ill pass.

I do not have any puppies on the ground now !  Why does everyone read this and come to their own conclusion ?
I am telling the truth !!!!!   She is making things up now, I was never told about any missing signature.

Yes, I expected her to come on here and respond.  And as she promised I would get the AKC papers, that's
why I bred her.  I'm  not bashing anyone, just her practices of selling dogs.
When I sell a puppy everything is in  my written contract.  I don't leave things out like she did.  And then make up
prices for gas.  Yes, stupid on my part for trusting.

What part of they did NOT go out of their way does anyone not understand ?  I met her exactly where she told me to
go, so it wouldn't be out of her way.  She then said she wasn't near me to get off the highway and get  her an
address, and she will come to me.  It's not my fault she got lost.  She was already driving to that exact spot !

The money isn't the problem, it's trusting  her to give me the papers and agreeing on a price.  Cause she said nothing
to me about paying her when I picked up Farah.  And I said I'd give her $100 and when I got home she insisted it be
$375

Just as we're always telling buyers they need to research the breeders before buying, so should the breeders be researching buyers--ESPECIALLY if the buyer is seeking to purchase a breeding animal from them.  Had Adel Haus done a bit of checking around, I suspect Farah would not have been sold to this buyer.  It's sad, but that's what it's come to--anyone who says there's no money to be made in breeding dogs is not truth-telling.  If there was no money to be made, there wouldn't be so many people doing so much of it. Most aren't doing it as it should be done, but that's because there's less money to be made if it's being done in the way that's best for the breed...

Hexe  I totally agree.  I'm not a breeder only a buyer.  but I would be more enthusiastic if a breeder checked me out.  To me that would even prove more that they cared about where their dogs went.  Which also means they don't want them unethically bred or to end up in an animal shelter.
