OMG- this poor baby....

I am a male, white and tan German Shepherd Dog mix.

The shelter staff think I am about 10 months old.

I have been at the shelter since Oct 03, 2012.

Death row due to mange

The male German shepherd puppy (mix?) at the BARC Animal Shelter in Houston, Texas wants to be loved, like all of the other dogs at the facility.

Unfortunately, this 10-month-old puppy is suffering from mange and everyone walks by his kennel run as if he is not there.

This puppy has no control over the skin condition which has taken over his body...no more than he has any control over where he currently is.

Unfortunately, in light of his condition, his chances of leaving here alive are slim.

He is just puppy.

In light of the mange, he will not be held for long - he should be considered "urgent," by those who would be willing to take the time to network on his behalf.

Without the help of strangers, right now, this puppy will never see winter, and beyond.

Could anyone foster this boy until transport if I could place him with a rescue? I will call the shelter to see what kind of mange he has.

Called the shelter- he was killing me he looked so sad. A rescue called in today to take him, and he also has back-up!!! Yahoooooooo! I couldnt stand that sad little face. He is safe :)

I am still so incensed that someone dropped these pups off that I called the shelter to find out the exact location of the place where the pups were dumped. I got the location, called the police but they have no cameras on Broward Blvd :( I would have loved to have the people that did this answer for their actions. I guess NY is the only place that has cameras on every street... I cant believe these people are going to fet a pass on the cruel actions in which they engaged :(
