Until we Get Rescue Forum: Please Post GSDS Needing Rescue Here - Page 3

Marjorie, I am in North Carolina right now, but will be back in Ft. Lauderdale (Broward County) next Tuesday. I can possibly do a short distance transport, but I can't hold a dog at my house right now because I'm pet sitting my son's dog aggressive Border Collie right after I get back, plus my hands are pretty full with Shelby. Is there anyone in the area who can evaluate these dogs? 

My friend Heidi is going to drive down from Boynton, to evaluate all 5, tomorrow. She is wonderful- she is the gal who adopted Diesel, knowing he had DM, when his owners dumped him in a kill shelter. She is one special person :)

Great news! Maybe Heidi and I meet sometime after I get back. I'll help out as much as possible. Yes, someonewho knowingly adopts a dog with DM is definitely a very special person :)

Called the shelter this morning. Mal is a return to the shelter and can only go to rescue. The 4 GSDS were*strays* all found together on Broward Blvd! Breeder dump! I dont believe for ONE minute that these 4 GSDS accidently just hooked up with each other. I hope there is a very special place, worse than hell, in which the people who did this will end up. Karma- please find them sooner rather than later!

OK- Heidi is picking them up on Thursday, after they are spayed. We left a deposit and our names are on them. She will probably keep one of them as she said they are just the sweetest pups. One really does look just like Missie T. I begged DH but he doesnt want any more dogs .(If he keeps this up, we wont have a future together!) Heidi will foster till transport. Julie has 2 people on a waiting list for puppies, so they will have homes to go to :)

Marjorie, maybe if you just slide the one that looks like Missy T in, let him see how sweet she is... maybe he'll
fall for her? :)

  the 4th pup has a deposit on it, so we are back-up for that pup.
 

Melissa- if I slid her in, he would slide me out :( Surprised you didnt hear us fighting in NC, tonight... LOL! I had to take him in a driving rain storm to get his freakin car detailed. I followed him about 20 minutes away- was raining so hard it was hard to see!  I was working on the dogs the whole time I was driving. When he got into my car, he had the nerve to ask me if I was going to be doing this for mch loner. I just shot him the *look*... He shut up pretty fast.. LOL! At dinner I whipped out the pic of the puppy that looked like Missie T and WW3 began. He said he was leaving. I said buh-bye. Of course, no such luck- he just sat there..LOL!

Heidi said all the pups are so sweet! One just came back from being altered and she was so tired and zoned, but when Heidi called her, she lifted her head a nd thumped her tail :)
