Coats can fool you from time to time. I expect these puppies to have a plush coat. Here's a comparison from another litter. Eight week old female puppy.

My second GSD puppy had a coat very similar to the pups on the first pic you posed. He ended up with a short, tight coat and no undercoat.
It would be interesting to DNA some of these dogs to see their genetic status. Friends have tested dogs they were sure were longcoats that tested as carriers. I saw a photo of one and I'd have bet my last dollar that dog was a coat, he tested as a carrier. Go figure...... it keeps dog breeders humble.
