Said it before and I'll say it again - whatever someone do to an animal should in turn be done to them. My sympathies go out to poor Hex and his family - even if I didn't know them.

RIP Hex!

Is there any plan to offer a big fat reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of this sicko, most likely an envious competitor? Someone out there knows for certain who did it, many must have a good idea who did it; some benjamins might  just make one of them into a law abiding citizen. Hex's tags were kept as a souvenier.

This sort of travesty happens every few years at AKC shows. Most times those dogs are poisoned.

My condolences . May God Take Hex into his arms and punish the bastard that did this!

Absolutely horrible.  I hope the POS is caught quickly and punished severely.

If someone would set up a chip in or other pay pal fund for information leading to the procecution of the person or persons that did this , I would be happy to pass it around the rescue network . People would be happy to donate for this because these people need to be caught and others need to know that they won't get away with it .
This is heartbreaking , I didn't know Hex but I posted and forwarded the emails about him and when I heard this it was like being stabbed in the heart. I think the whole dog world felt this way . Lets catch these sorry scum bags .
I have a very large contact list "in the hundreds" and most of those contacts have an equal number of contacts .

I would not only be more than happy to donate to a reward to help find, arrest and prosecute the scum bags who did this horrible thing.   I will also forward it to everyone I know.

Someone knows who did this heinously cowardly act. If it requires that you receive a reward to come forward you are to be branded the same type of asshole. If you want to be seen as hero make sure you donate every single dime of those ill gotten gains to a charitable cause or the karma of that $ will poison your life. My heart goes out to Al and family. Hex is free But his murderer will pay if not legally he will be haunted forever wondering when retribution will come. It always does. Trudy

So sadden by the news & shocked. I'll say a prayer for both you & your family, & Hex.

I hope Hex got some really good bites into the man that did this to him, maybe check out
the local ER's for people recently treated dog bites. What goes around always comes back around.

I hope you find comfort in knowing you gave Hex a wonderful loving life.
At least in the end Hex was left at one of his favorite spots & he may rest in peace with his family now.

I'm sure this type of scumbag coward did something like anti-freeze or similar. They wouldn't have the courage to actually let the dog fight.
We'll see what the lab says.
Hugs,
Debby
