Great news about Andrew!  Hope he only continues to improve and they can get his treatment going again.

Cute little Corgi but my heart belongs to the GSD.

And what a tease indeed.  Envision me as John Belushi in Animal House when he is sneaking around, dressed in black.  That would be about my puppynapping speed all right!  No doubt Rookie would put the bite on me before I could get far.  LOL

Tell Andrew we are sending cyber hugs his way!

Kim I haven't been on line too much over the last few weeks-too much OT at work, & my keyboard has gone wack-o soiiiust saw this thread. I'm so glad to know that AJ is doing better. I send my prayers. And, I too, will be happy to assist you by taking your puppies on an extended vacation to the sub-arctic east coast! Of course Rookie may come as well! LOL! They are so precious! Minni-me is just awesome! Oh how I wish I could take another pup right now! I hope you find them all wonderful homes, & I'll keep Andrew in my prayers. Best wishes, jackie harris

Thanks Deb and Jackie.  Everyone has been so nice.

Andrew is going home today.  He is able to walk, but still weak on his left side.  He is getting better everyday.

As the mother of a Leukemia survivor, my prayers are with you.

My son had just turned 3 when diagnosed.  He is 15 now.

God bless and keep him safe.

gsd fan
I am so glad to hear your news.  It seems overwhelming at times.  Even though Andrews Leukemia has a very high survival rate it is still very scary.  Thank you for sharing.  How long was your son in treatment?  I would love to hear some details if you dont mind sharing.  PM me if you want.

Kim, glad to hear your nephew is making daily progress.
On the subject of if you lived closer, there would be no need for you to visit or any puppynaping. I would be moving in, lock, stock and barrel and just revel in Rookie and any babies, lol. Liz

Liz,
You are always welcome to come for a visit.  With my Mom now living with my sister to help with Andrew,  I have a very nice spare room with its own full bathroom.
Although if you came for a visit,  Rookie will not be able to accompany you home.  Even if he says he wants to go.
