I am a big fan of the Czech dogs. My current male is linebred on Cordan An Sat. My next dog, a female, will more than likely be from czech lines. I'd love another dog with Cordon in the pedigree.
Hans, if your interested here's a link to my dogs pedigree: http://www.pedigreedatabase.com/gsd/pedigree/469183.html
I 'd love to hear your thoughts on this pedigre.

To Slamdunc.
OK this pedigree is what I am talking about in my post if you go to 5-7th generation you can see the cooperation of Czech and DDR breeding programs.
SP-PS were active Border dogs (Sluzebni pes-Pohranicni straz = Service dog Border patrol)
SNB CS were active police dogs (Sbor narodni bezpecnosti Cesko Slovensko= Unit of national security Czechoslovakia)
z Pohranicni straze : Czech border patrol breeding program.
The great dogs-Legends:Iwo von der Buschecke, Cordon An-Sat,V Ingo von Rudingen,Pana z Pohranicni straze (I used to owe her), Bojar vom Schotterhof,Dar z Przma,V Treu vom Schäferstolz, Ilona z Pohranicni straze,Marco z Danaru,....THESE DOGS ARE LEGENDS!!!!!
I would not line breed on: Lord vom Gleisdreieck (Sometimes throws bad hips, or Cordon since you have him 2 x But he is so far back that it may not matter. And I would try to eliminate any dogs with lesser hips behind Anita.
The problem with http://www.pedigreedatabase.com is that pedigrees have often corrupted data. Thus I would like to look at original copies of pedigree in order to be able to better evaluate the hips data. If I would go on what I see there I would try to eliminate anything behind Anita what has inferior hips mainly the dogs with Noch zugelassen (Still permissible) and their relatives. The pedigree is great one of the best I have seen. Your dog should work really well.

Thanks for taking the time to look at the pedigree and you nice evaluation. I couldn't be happier with this dog. Super drives, clear head, full hard crushing grips (genetic), excellent tracker, great obedience and super focused. He is also hard dog with no handler aggression.
I have converted him to be my Police K9 and he's doing really well. We apprehended 3 guys last week waiting to rob a pizza delivery driver, then we caught a guy burglarizing a house. We came in the back door as the guy was wheeling out a wheel barrow full of construction equipment. No doubt the dog was going to bite the guy; but the bad guy complied right away and proned out. I was the first on scene and now had a bad guy on the ground, agitated dog and a pitch black house and dispatch had stated there were several suspects. I dropped the leash and put the dog in a platz about a foot from the guy, then radioed what I had, keeping eyes and a gun pointed down the hall. The guy moved his leg and my dog went to bite him, I repeated my platz command as the guy was screaming, "please don't let your dog bite me." I instructed the guy not to move and was able to handcuff him with one hand, still covering down range. I knew if the guy moved again the dog had him, I was more concerned with the rest of the house. Right about then my back up showed up and took this guy and we cleared the rest of the house. We didn't find anyone else.
He does work very well and I am now cross training him for narcotics. He is an aggressive alert dog and has already torn up a couple of cars to get to the dope. He loves the dope work as well.
As far as Anita goes she has produced several dogs that have competed at the Nationals and the WUSV. She is a fantastic female that has produced some great dogs. Unfortunately, she is now retired from breeding.
