I am unaware of the identity of petowner, but i will try to answer the question he ( or she ) put to Kerry. Firstly let me say that both Zamp and Vegas are beautiful dogs.......... but we should be looking past the pure aesthetics, and try to evaluate their true genetic worth. It is an acknowledged fact  that both dogs lack a love of work, one only has to stand at the collecting ring for the manwork  at the sieger show to see that both dogs and handlers hate being there,but i suspect the other reasons for not wanting to mix the bloodlines would be excessive rear angulation, unsoundness going away, soft ears and teeth problems. We are all aware of the saying "all that glitters is not gold " it is particularly relevent here, and to be honest probably always has been, but in the past when the quarantine was here, the people who imported animals usually brought good ones, not all , but most, now anybody with 5000 euros to spend can go onto the Internet and buy one, whether it be good, bad or indifferent so long as it has a VA father. One poster made the point that not all dogs produce, never has a truer passage been uttered, my good friend Bill Owen is always quick to point out to people that a winning animal has a mother as well as a father.

Paul, Your opinion's on Vegas And Zamp is you opinion.  Wether your right or wrong.  Just like to add our  3 Vegas Progeny all have a High drive, and have a willingness to work. Nor are they unsound or teeth problems, with ears you just have to wait abit longer with some.
Missbeeb, I was just trying to have a sensible conversation.  Again impossible.

We know not all Males produce, even VA Males, the males we use is because we really like them and think they will suit our females regardless if they happen to get High Placings or not.  As Bill Owen said an animal has a Mother as well as a Father, thats why we would never give up on our Female line in our Kennel, we just hope to keep improving.
I think their are alot of Beautiful Females now in the UK and with the right breeding and Health checks we are definately going the right way.

Paulie.   Many thanks for answering my question so precisely,  I thought your whole post was very good also very genuine.
I am sorry for recently removing my email and name that was originally there for everyone to see ,  my wife see's my emails and was rather upset when she read emails from anonymous posters on this site that were very rude and insulting for no good reason, I do not want her subject to that abuse.

Simon when it comes to this board you must understand that some of the people who come on here are infact little green monsters from the planet envy you will always get them they are in all walks of life they lead non existant lifes have no courage and all they want is to bring every decent thread into a slaging match because it is what they thrive on it is best to ignore these little green monsters from the planet envy and they will just disapear.

Simon- you must also realise that the likes of jaymesie 51 never answer a direct question if it appears that the answer might show him/her in a bad light-a case of not wanting to upset his/her chances in the show rings, you will have noticed that he/she never uttered an opinion on buying in sucess from breeders abroad, neither did he/she comment as to why the top breeders never comment on here, even if only to back up the rantings of sue b or videx.But I suspect Simon you already know where these apologists for the breed stand in the pecking order.
