by RichCarne on 07 September 2018 - 20:09
Of course West German Working lines exist... I'm sure you know this... what exactly are you asking?

by Prager on 07 September 2018 - 20:09
LOL !!! RichCarne are trolling? No, I have not EVER talk negatively about WG dogs as a generalization. While there are differences between E block DDR/Czech type of dogs and WG type of dogs. I often defend WG dog. Through years I am saying repetitively that it does not matter where good dogs come.As a matter of fact I often in jest use example of China , Russia or Iceland. Good dog is a good dog. I do say that good dogs are where you find them. Also, I say that all GSD come from Germany. Good dog is a good dog. While I promote Old Style Czech line I do not ever disparage WG lines. I challenge you to show me where I have criticized WG dogs as such. I as a rule do not criticize any countries GSd lines in general. As a matter of fact I am a staunch opponent of geographical differentiation of the breed and geographical purity of pedigrees.
I am attacking WG breeders or nonbreeders who are spreading lies about Czech dogs.

There are many vernacular definitions of so-called "lines".
lines can be show-sport-work
or can be divided by geographical purity of pedigree.
or by lines produced by the specific kennel,... and combinations of thereof. I am sure that there may be some other way do describe lines. All those lines can be described by Male blood lines.

To some people, " good dog" is what ever they can sell to suckers.
To others, " good dog" is what has the genetics to fulfill a job...
