here is some training a while back. He had decided to run in and bite, and we were trying to get him to settle a bit.

"Which video ? Are you talking about the Max brother video ? How long does it take you to read what is happening ?"
Any video - If you see an adult that has finished training, what most people see is the result of training.
There is nothing wrong with that, I like watching them.
It won't tell me if it took 8 months of training to get a full grip or maybe 2 weeks to get a full grip.
Or if it is performing well at the moment because the dog is comfortable with its location and helper.
Buko looks ok and was trained differently than the other dogs here so I guess it's like comparing apples and oranges.
I can't tell how much training it took for you to be able to control him or get him to bite the suit (etc) at the time the video was taken.
Manus looks more intimidating to me though and would probably bite a suit if trained.
Mark, Uruk looks good to me - nice job.

RIng just requires that the dog bark one time really. If the dog is not vigilant the judge can tell the decoy to escape. Vigilance is different, because just because a dog is not looking, doesn't mean you are going to get away with anything necessarily. Most of them do look, but I cannot think of one time that I have seen a decoy wack a dog with a schlagstock in ring in the blind.
Buko jumps like an idiot as well. I really don't like him to do that, but also have a lot more things to worry about, so he jumps like an idiot.

I am sure he would bite the suit. Any problems he would have would be the amount of conditioning to bite the forearm. That is what I see most often, it is just really stuck in their heads by ring three.
I also want to make sure that people do not think that I am insulting the dog because he is barking in frustration for the reward in my opinion. I do not see the soul in the blind.
