The continued rubbish spouted by our brave anonymous friend "OGGY" evidences the treatment meted out to anyone daring to question the actions and behaviour of BAGSD VPG- no matter how positive or fair that questioning may be

After the insulting, disgraceful and bullying posts regarding my wife (subsequently removed, but saved by me) I am amazed that this cretin has the gall to return to this board

But I am glad he has- he has given himself away

Getting insulted and threatened is all in a days work (literaly) for me; water off a ducks back, so to speak

writing sh1t about the wife is a different matter

See ya soon Oggy

Dear OGGY
Your right ,i dont compete .,however ,what  most people want to see is the best 5 teams represent the UK regardless of which organisation they come from, and for that a joint trial is necessary,has they say "every dog has its day", so give it a go

by oggy on 16 May 2010 - 19:05

OGGY,
Before i start i am a member of no so called side,  I have read all you posts, yes even the ones removed, you are goin to get found out very shortly, so quit while you can, i know who you are, you yourself have told me, and i will expose you

I think that if the sport is ever to move forward in the UK then the starting point would be the GSDL proposed Joint trial for WUSV Selection.

It is now the only way of appropriate legitimacy being established, and the only way that might represent a more positive way forward to address the currently obvious divisive and deep seated situation of mistrust and bitterness.

Whoever qualified would deserve to go, end of story. Those who refrained from supporting such a team would be exposed for what they are.

After stumbling across this site and reading all of the above comments, i find it very hard to understand that certain people who have previously made slanderous comments regarding the joint selection system would ever be content if it every happened, the way certain people speak about others, is beyond belief, what gives these people the right to condemn others.
Why doesn't everyone stop having a go at each other,  the only way to promote the sport, is for BOTH sides to stop trying to belittle the other, it would be a start, otherwise you will destroy the sport in the UK, no matter how strong certain people think they are right, don't forget, its only their personal opinion,only by working together, will the issues be resolved, in a positive manner.

PS when and only when these people start to respect others, will the world be a better place

Hi Mike;

You say have read this thread; can you please explain where the GSDL perspective as outlined in any way prejudicial or faulty; your input would be welcomed. It is all to easy and convenient to claim "its 6 of one and half a dozen of the other"- this is nonsense and, can be evidenced by the fact that whoever has been guiding the GSDL these last few years have begun with your perspective- and it has rapidly changed  after trying to do business with BAGSD.

Currently the GSDL position is outlined on this forum; it is important to add, however, that the GSDL  have further tried to accomadate BAGSD by proposing that 2 individuals who should be acceptable to their organisation begin the negotiations- we can't be fairer that that.

Frankly I am not interested in BAGSD/VPG. They can exist without hassle from me in any format they want. What I am interested in is the development of a system that allows the best UK team to go to WUSV; end of story. This is the GSDL position also. When this is accomplished there will be little left to argue about.

Nugget, you state that you are interested in the development of a system, which i can maybe understand, but only through positive and constructive comments, will procedures progress, I'm not try to educate you, but in my past knowledge i think a more sympathetic approach would be more productive, you can only whip a donkey so many times before it refuses to work,
Just a thought

Hi Mike;

Given the situation extensively outlined in this thread, through your past knowledge you can perhaps suggest an area where any recent actions of the small minority who now control BAGSD/VPG  might merit any positive/ sympathetic  comment whatsoever. If you can find any, I'll be the first to offer the Olive Branch.

This is not just talk- I can evidence this by the numbers of current and ex BAGSD members who regularly attend my club; some of whom, by their own admission, granted me little charity or goodwill whilst members of that organization

In life there is generally very little that is black and white; merely various shades of Grey.

This situation, however, is like night and day -its crystal

MIKEMAC: I am very interested in gaining a very relevant perspective on your above comments.

Your clear identity will certainly provide that perspective.

I look forward to you providing it.
