I see Slam's "Dislike Fairy" got shy. LMAO.  Now there's the epitome of courage- dislike anonymously, then not even have the guts to let THAT stick when attention is brought to it! Ha!

It is possible, I suppose, that one clicked the wrong thumb and merely corrected it. But not bloodly likely. lol

Kitkat, gorgeous puppy face.

Hund and Jenni,
i certainly fully expect to get a few dislikes when ever I post.   I am going to assume that some one hit the wrong "thumb" in this case and changed it.  I know that I have done that on occasion.  I can think of some reasons why a person would not like a Police K-9.   Boomer has made a lot of arrests and seizures, perhaps one of his clients is a PDB member?

I still think it was simply an honest mistake and not personal.

Really good looking dogs on this thread and some excellent photography.  Thumbs Up Thumbs Up

BTW, this is the first I knew you COULD undo a like or a dislike!

Why would anyone not like any of these dogs? No one asked for critiques, we posted their photos because we are proud of them.

My very first GSD (and the first dog I was able to call my own, though I sort of adopted a few that belonged to other people before her)

God rest her soul. Our time together was all too brief. I adopted her at 5, and she had to be PTS at 9. Well, given the shape she was in when I adopted her (26 inches tall, and only 35 lbs.!) I know that was 4 years she likely wouldn't have had without my help.

From her appearance, she was fairly well bred, and might possibly have come from Leo Bellini's Carrisima Kennels, which was very close to the farm that was her original home.

Her original owner was a neighbour of my uncle's. I remember seeing her as a half-grown pup. She was so skinny, I was tempted to call the Humane Society. By the time she was 5, her owner had to go into a retirement home, as he could no longer look after himself. My uncle took the dog, as he'd promised, but he didn't really like her very much. They did have dog food for her, but my aunt said she wouldn't eat it. (It was the cheapest brand of Purina, and crawling with worms!) Sick

I often wonder how much of her extreme weight loss was neglect, and how much was just simply giving up on life, because no one wanted her.

The first thing I did after I took her home was visit the vet. He told me he wasn't sure she was going to live. He thought she had some sort of chronic wasting disease, and wanted to do a bunch of tests.

I said, "Let's just see what happens with some good food and lots of TLC."

She began to gain weight, and never looked back after that. Eventually, I got her up to nearly 70 lbs., but she was always a rather picky eater, and I had to put chicken broth or wet dog food on her kibble, or she would refuse to eat it!  Roll eyes

She was a very gentle girl. I used to have a retired lady from across the road come and walk her while I was at work. She also babysat her niece during the day. That little girl took some of her first steps hanging on to Lili's collar!  Teeth Smile

I named her Lili Marlene, after the old WWII song. Her original name was [gag!] Lassie.

All of these dogs are gorgeous!   Blitzen your dog is beautiful.

SS that is what the little red circle with the x is for. If you want to change or remove your like or dislike you hit the red circle.   It is on top, right after where it says "you like or dislike this post.

Kaffirdog, i checked out your boys ped, very nice.   I love that picture on his pedigree, that is awesome!   Very impressive.
