Are the first 10 your pics for VA Blitzen? Kidding aside, they seem to have a lot and they all translate into German Shepherd so far. Not a spin off breed.

Oh, I know they're for real, Blitzen...it's just when I look at them, something about them says this phenotype is actually a birth defect that is being perpetuated, either genetically or due to outside influences that is mutating the DNA. Can't put my finger on it, but I know I've seen the general appearance elsewhere as signalment of a congenital deformity.

I don't know, Hexe, I've never seen anything quite like it (and hope I never do again). Brachocephehalic maybe, could lead to other gross changes. Air pollution?

I thought that was possible, Joanro, til I saw that video. I may know someone in China who can get us some pedigrees. I don't expect we'll be too shocked if we do get to identify their ancestors.
