"I am disappointed in the moderators. "

This raises an interesting question for me about which I've often wondered and one the you have now provided me the perfect opportunity to ask.  What, exactly, do you think gives you the right to come onto a forum and in less than a week as a member criticize not only the content of the forum but the way it's being run?  Wouldn't it make more sense to simply find another forum that is more to your liking?

Dantes
Why don't you just stick to Hans' forum if this one is not to your taste?

Personally I think the moderators have done an excellent job.

Ok Guys,

Chrissy has been very respectful, on this thread, and I do believe Chrissy and Kaiser's thread deserves not to be turned into back and forth between members. Nor will it be used for venting. Need to vent and smack each other around, please feel free to enter the OT forum.

This is an International Site, those czech jokes WERE offensive to many!

Many, many members and non-members are reading this thread that didn't post a word. And your words effect them, too.
You got your laugh and now it's time, to be respectful, to your fellow members (known and unkown) and Chrissy.

This thread isn't about how you feel, about another member, what you think is funny, what will happen to the thread or what or why we did something. It's about
Chrissy and Kaiser and what happened with them.  If you want to know why Shawty or I did something, please feel free, to PM us.

Remember why this thread was made.
For whom it was made for.
And what you want this thread to convey, to others, in the future.

Personally, I think the mods have done a super job and let this thread grow and branch off in several directions.
Much like a normal discussion face to face would go
At the end of the day, it always comes full circle back to the original post and issue(s).
And heck, even a couple of my more heated posts got cleaned up. smiley
I respect their actions, they seemed to have handled this thread with great care.

People will naturally "pick sides" in a situation like this.
It's hard NOT to feel sorry & angry for the way Chrissy was treated in the purchase of
her very first purebred pedigreed German Shepherd from Hans @ Alpine K9 & Jiri at Jinopo.

I hope that this will not sour her on the breed, nor will it sour her on eventually starting schutzhund or any other sport.
She can still attain a BH and tracking titles with Kaiser.
I'm sure based on her ability to conduct herself with poise and grace that she has shown here, she will be a welcome addition to any club.

It's easy for people to sit back and say "put the dog down", and maybe in 5 years or so, after Chrissy has owned a dog or three,
she might make a decision like that, but for now, she is doing what she feels is best for Kaiser.
It's not an unheard of operation, in fact, sadly, it seems pretty "common".
The probability that Kaiser will lead a decent active pain free life is good based on success rates with this type of surgery.
I applaud Chrissy for sticking by her dog through thick and thin, Kaiser is a lucky "unlucky" dog

I am curious now that Chrissy has laid all her cards on the table so to speak, how do those of you that have stuck by Hans/Alpine K9 & Jiri/Jinopo
feel about the whole situation now?
Do you see the discrepencies in what Hans has said here? I mean come on, it's his own posts, his own words.

I am also curious to those that have supported Hans, how would you have responded if this were any other breeder?
I wonder if your opinions would have had a different direction.
When you take away the "names" involved, and just look at the entire situation, it kind of sucks doesn't it? Kind of seems wrong doesn't it?

How would one of YOU that feels that Chrissy is unjustified in her feelings and that we are "picking on Hans/Jiri" feel if you
paid out $2K+ and opened that same box up at the airport?
And then couldn't get a return call or email from the broker Hans for almost 2 weeks? How would YOU feel?

Wouldn't seem too great would it?

This whole matter could have been subject to legal proceedings so should NEVER hve been allowed to progress this far.

I am disappointed in the moderators.

Dantes,

You are right for most part of your statement above except that it would be against Hans @ Alpine K9 & Jiri at Jinopo for negligence!  Shipping a pup with severe overbite to unsuspecting buyer and not responding to her calls or to take the appropriate action to remedy the situation raises a lot of question about integrity and honesty.  Waving the warranty at her in this situation is crude and unacceptable!

If Chrissy knew her rights, the topic before this thread would have been “Look at this overbite”.

So, if legal proceedings finds in favour of her circumstances, not only will she get full refund plus shipping but also compensation towards the cost of corrective surgery.

Dantes, you’re barking up the wrong tree!

Some excellent posts on this page.  As I stated before, Dantes your post is ridiculous, Chrissy would be the one taking legal action.

Hans has no one to blame but himself, his partner and his shoddy business practices for this light being shined on him. He has enjoyed a pretty good reputation among those who bother to post here. But this was a scam pulled on a novice and it is laughable that anyone with any experience cannot see through it.

This was not a he said/she said, but a first hand account of someone laying out a couple of thousand for a pup that needed surgery right off the bat. And now we have heard other first hand accounts of people recieving much less than they paid for.

The mods did fine and I salute them for letting it play out. Hans has not had any complaints about this forum or the mods the whole time he has been using it to promote himself and sell dogs. Why are you guys crying now that the same forum has been used to expose him.

Per request here are some photos of Kaiser, puppyhood to now. The last one is his teeth at 8 months. I'll have clinic information for anyone who still wants to donate in a few days. :)
