May I ask a genuine question? This is not intended as a question that needs 150 comments from 50 people, continuing to slag one another off, just a genuine question from someone who does not know something and would like ONE straight answer.
In KC competition whether it be Show, Agility, Obedience etc etc, if a person who is attending or competing at an event, feels that the rules have not been correctly adhered to in some way or another, the correct path is to firstly approach the Show Sec and then if still upset, complain directly to the governing body.....in this example the KC.
Here is the question..."Is there not a similar route in the ways of the SV/WUSV if one feels that someone is incorrect?"
As with my earlier comments, no alterior motive, no hidden agenda...I really do not know.
If there is, then perhaps that might be a better approach to pay the complaint fee and put your money where your mouth is rather than berating someone's well intentioned efforts to start something new in the UK.
Oh and BEFORE comments on that last bit start flooding in, I would never attend such an event with my dogs so I am not defending one side or the other.
Just curious
Thank You In Advance

I agree with your comment, and thank you. If I had received a letter, an email or a telehone conversation with a complaint or complaints about issues - I have a duty to investigate and answer to the best of my ability, and would have done so. If that didnt satisfy, then the WUSV/SV will surely have a procedure to be followed.
This thread however, started by seeking results from the trial, which were put on the board. This then lowered into question after question that I answered as best I could until it became clear that we had a mischief maker amongst us. The tone lowerd into various depths and it has been very dissappointing.
However, this "gentleman" came on here purely with the intention of causing as much public outcry as he could regarding the event and it hasnt worked that way, just the opposite in fact, but that hasnt stopped it being very sad to remind us all of the fact that there are such people in our midst when coming together as GSD owners is very important right now.
I believe he has now addressed his comments, or concerns to the relevant agencies, and in that I expected that he would need to follow correct procedure - hopefully he will have been told that this is the way forward by them as well as now by yourself, and it may serve to get him some satisfaction one way or another.
Kind regards
Mo.

Hello Mo,
Thank you for your reply. I thought there must be some kind of procedure as undoubtedly there will have been some kind of mistakes made in the past and the governing body would surely have some official way of dealing with complaints.
Oh and I am NOT saying that this is the case here, in case someone on here twists my words. I have already stated that I would never attend such an event so hopefully this also indicates that I was not there so am not posting to argue anyone's point.
Thank you again Mo for answering my question.

Your new found self critism could be considered a virtue!
(and certainly NOT established as a pattern in any previous behaviour) !
Unlike your use of exclamation marks!

Your lot were no better when doing WT. Thank god you moved to VPG. Perhaps you might now consider another breed. please

Was this person Thomas Nye?
A simple yes or no would suffice, however further details would help readers to be more fully informed.

will comfirm it looked like the person was experienced in working his dog and had to be
asked several times to leave the area
I was there to gain an insight to working trials and have no axe to grind

I have been asked for and explained my side of the story to the chairman of BAGSD and it is only with BAGSD officials that I will discuss the matter. Make of that what you will.
l am not surprised, however, at the anonymous entity's and indeed others that are well known here that choose to spout vitriol without seeking both sides of a story.
I am embarrassed that our altercation was so public, but I'm sure Mo will agree we each gave as good as we got.
I am NOT Mikey and I do NOT know this person. I have emailed Mo to this effect.
