Ok .  Lidia you ask whats the difference this time? The difference is that this Database is not here for people to conduct character assassinations, be it anonymously or not. It is here to discuss dogs, sadly very few are able to stick to the subject of dogs without attacking their owners or some other person in the GSD community.

Whatever your beef with Lin, it DOES NOT BELONG HERE. Do you get that now? Can you now see what the difference is? I hope so because whatever it is you are trying to prove you are failing miserably and only succeeding in rallying the troops to support the person you are brow beating on here. Now please get on with your lives and find something else to occupy your time, nobody is perfect and whatever Lin has or has not done is absolutely no business of anybody else reading this board and certainly not your business to inform us of it. If what you say is true then I am sure the authorities is a better place to start than on this board.

This thread was supposed to be about the British Sieger book that Lin has produced for the last couple of years and which IMO was super, If it had mistakes in it then I didn't spot them so they cant have been of major significance but very few publications go to press without some errors in them. It will be sad if Lin's absence from the German and British Sieger show this year means the book will not be produced for circulation next year but if that is the case then it certainly proves one thing, IF the book as you claim was such the money spinner then I am sure in Lins absence there would have been dozens willing to take up the challenge to fill the gap in the market place !! What NO TAKERS now there's a surprise (I don't think). So the very fact that there isn't any takers sort of proves you wrong I guess, about her money making schemes that is !!

Now if you don't mind Lidia and Ambii I think least said about this from now on, is soonest mended. Thanks.

Regards

Can you now see what the difference is?

Not really. It all looks the same to me.
Someone says something someone else doesn't want to hear, and out roll the Database Police telling folk what they can and cant speak about.
Its just the same old same old.

SueB: i know you won't answer this one- but as you are in a TELLING mood, tell them about, breeders,puppies-unearned income and taxes ! Tell them about puppies who generate more wages than some workers, the workers of course pay their taxes. A breeder last year had two litters 9 and 8 sold them for a cheap £700 total £11,900 not bad A ? Now the country is in such a poor state financial I can imaging some people will be rather annoyed.

UNEARNED INCOME?????? WTF. You are obviously not a breeder or your having a laugh!!!! Absolutely priceless, lmao.

Pencil, my hubby and I both pay tax on our earned income and every year we declare any monies taken from sale of pups or (now heres a laugh) stud fee's, we then declare all costs in keeping our dogs, feeding, vets, cleaning materials, bedding, show entries, petrol costs to shows, stud fee's, KC reg fee's, microchipping, etc etc , and we don't even bother to claim for the electricity used to wash bedding, heat and light the kennels etc etc, so how much do you think we make each year, well if I tell you that every year we get a tax rebate does that answer your question.
By the way, it wasn't our decision to start declaring this money to the tax man, it was the decision of probably someone like you Pencil who saw fit to report us to the Tax man with some strange idea that we made money out of our dogs. So now we are forced into declaring every year, this has gone on for the past 6yrs and I must admit the yearly rebates come in very handy, I wish we had done it years ago, when I think of all that tax we have paid for so many years when we didn't have to, we would have been so much better off.

So thank you, Pencil or whoever you are who thought they were doing us a disservice by Dobbin us in to the Tax Man, you actually made us better off and our bank manager a much happier bunny. Personally I would have preferred that our hobby had remained a hobby and left the tax we had paid in the hands of the government to put towards schools for people who have kids (we don't have any) or family allowance , dole etc for the lazy cretins who don't want to work, () but as the Tax man decided it was a business the government now pays us money to help keep our ever failing business afloat with yearly rebates from the tax we pay out of the monthly  salaries we get from our employers.

SueB: Oh dear ! I was not talking about you and your taxes I was talking generally, because I would suspect that there are very many who don't declare either puppy profits or handling fees. And you and Bazza would seem to be taking us as fools if you think that we believe a profit can not be made from my example of £11,900. I can only suggest that you both are pulling the wool over our eyes or you're both very poor at business.

Let this thread die.

Pencil... give it  rest!  If you didn't mean Sue... why ask her in particular? You seldom ask questions of anyone else; can't you get over whatever it is that grieves you and move on?

Yes!  Some people make money from breeding, I doubt it's much of a secret.

Is there no end to the lies and damned lies? The Fardogart website has been updated to remove the book that was selling at £70 and to claim they are operating as a hobby.
Hobby my eye! search them and see just how many places they are listed as being a business!!
They weren't a hobby in 2007 when this was posted on a forum:

From: FAR-DOG-ART (Original Message) Sent: 04/05/2007 14:17
I must apologise for not being around in the last week or so ..I am so busy ..I had a meeting with my small business advisor on Wednesday and it went so well ..

Prices have been removed from their 'services' pages but they constantly refer to "Cost" which suggests there is a charge, and hence an income.

And some people still wont be able to see whats wrong with that!:(
Just before someone else accuses this as being a beef with the books author, or not on topic .....I responded to this thread because when I first bought this book because it was being promoted as all profits going to GSDWF and nothing taken out by author. The book was over subscribed (so we're told) and that donation never happened!!
That, SueB is my beef with the author, and is the reason why I'm happy its not being published again this year.

Oh, and Sallysally, where is the proof we're waiting for that dogs were taken away from a breeders house? There is none is there!?

by sillysally on 23 September 2010 - 08:09

Im so sorry for not replying sooner Lidia but unlike yourself i do actually have a life and dogs to work.
I saw the proof thank you very much . I also saw the pictures of pups and dogs squashed in tiny filthy cages.
If you read the above post by Mo you will see that she has spoken to reliable sources about Lin, they are not anonymous.
Lin never asks for a penny for her services at shows, she is a credit to our breed, her enthusiasm is so refreshing and we need her. She has many, many friends and supporters.
You are bringing up a post in 2007 ?!
Lin only has a couple of vindictive bullies out there who don't seem to get the message and yes i know who you are !
What goes around comes around  and i for one cant wait to see what that has in store for you, i see Lin actually has more followers and supporters than you seem too.
