I certainly hope this *********** person does not have anything to do with breeding dogs.
I have a question....why is so much emphasis placed on the stud as opposed to the female?

Some plain inseperable truths between the differences of gender.
1. The longevity of the male gender's breeding career
2. The fact that males can proliferate in greater numbers breeding many females throughout the year
3. Any female that produces will lose at least 2 months out of the year, away from training and furthering her performance career
It makes sense that the male gender has the greater impact.

Yes, and that's what I said in my deleted post. The dog might have equivalent titles/surveys/conformation ratings -molly
zmoderator edit: Again, neither the dog or the website belong to Darryl. If you wish to comment further about this dog, please contact the owner. OGBS pointed out the innacuracies with regards to title/breed survey and Darryl acknowledged it. Enough.

Then whichever dog is more prepotent, the sire or the dam. BOTH could be more prepotent than the other, just in different specific regards.

I know for many years there has been SV judges in Belgium My friend is one such Judge and has been for many years, However it is of little consequence, I was just suprised to read it.
Regards a Stud Well he passes on his bit the Female Passes on her Genes. If the Male is no good meaning it has many faults even mated to a top Female, The Pups will be lacking somewhere along the line and same the other way around, All anyone can do if they have a Dog of Male or Female is to do there home work very throughly indeed before they pick a mate for there own Dog.
For me the first thing is Temperament of both Animals, this comes before Pedigree Conformation Colour or anything else, Get that bit over then look to the above and anything else one considers important

I was just wondering why there is never a "Best new dam" thread or something similar. The amount of pups a stud can produce may increase his chances of producing a winner. Me finding a truly nice female however would increase my chances of producing a winner with the stud of my choice. I want the winner.....I dont want to read about someone else producing it. If I was a breeder that is. So to me the dam is more important.
