both ears bent puppies ears go up and down till they are done teething, so a bent ear at a young age is not worrisome to me.

Just a difference in lines, I suppose. I'm accustomed to seeing them up for good at 4 weeks, and sometimes on a larger male, down again and up by 12 weeks.

Marj, one day your circumstances may change and it will be the right time for another dog. Many of us say - this is it and then get another dog in time. Maybe you've already had all the bad luck with dogs you're going to ever have?
