A legal question that needs to be answered is what of the proper co-owners?
Dogs are property, similar to any other property. If you and a partner purchased a parcel of land and your friend died, the partial ownership would go to the family of to co-owner.

Here, some dogs were leased and others were co-owned. Dawn may have signed over her portion of the dog, but the co-owners still have their right to their portion. The SPCA said, they are all ours.......to hell with who rightfully owns them.

Its interesting that on the SPCA's website, there's a GSD mix, it was part of the raid, and is only dog from the raid that is up for adoption. The rest, even the dogs that are supposed to be waiting for the courts to decide are not at the faciltiy, the are MIA.

Sitas, I don´t know how it´s handled in the States - over here, no matter how many co-owners, one person is responsible for everything ( including authorized to draw ). Could become difficult.
Do you know any co-owners, and do you know what happened to their dogs?

Why do you wonder, that a Mix doesn´t find a new home that fast? There are thousands of Mixes out there looking for new homes - that´s brutal normality.

What really causes astonishment is, that you call a legal police operation "raid". Do you really think they did wrong when they rescued these dogs? Maybe you should watch the pictures once again.

I found on Facebook today written down from different people, that Ebroh and Dante weight 56 and 59 pounds when they got out of there...
There sure are vet reports.

legal representation has been hired for some of the owners, the lawyers have privy to all records.........
NON OF THE DOGS WERE IN LIFE OR DEATH SITUATIONS.

yes i feel the confiscations were uncalled for.

BTW, my dogs would loose several lbs if they were not fed or watered from early Saturday morning until late Monday evening. That was the time in between the raid and the court order to move the dogs. And without being let out, their crates would look horrible, especially of I put an inch or two of ceder shaving in each one. The would all be in sloppy messes after that much time in confinded. They would be dehydrated and emaciated too.

The dogs didn't have blistered paws or underbellies, 2 of the "pregnant females" were not pregnent, they were fat.

A few miles down the streed a geriatric mix dog is/was teathered on a chain with a dog house..........the poor dog withstood 0 degree weather for days on end, yet the spca did nothing...........

Susie, if they can manipulate the system once and get awsy with it,

Do you really think the buck stops there?

To susie:

I am not going to go through all the previous messages but something you said caught my eye. " dogs she didn't own... have to wait either in the shelter or in foster homes until ownership was verified in court".

Were the dogs that went to Frank and others( if there are others) who got papers and un neutered animals co owned by her or wholly owned by DV? If they were co owned, are  Frank and the others considered a shelter OR a foster home? And, how could they convey papers to a foster home?

Hi This is Frank, I have been reading this and am at Awe.... first of all DV was the one that contacted me and asked me to go get the dogs from the shelter.... second DV was the one that gave me the paper work for the dogs and Third of all I am going to breed these dogs because they are worth Breeding. And I own them.

Also FYI My brother Manny Co-bred Dante....And DV put him down as the people that she wanted Dante to go too.... So Before shooting of your mouths and hide behinde fake names.Call me -603-525-9479 I would be more then  happy to answer any questions.

Yours Truly

Well than Frank, THAT IS TOTALLY DIFFERENT...than the scenario that was "put out there", if that is the case,

More power to you...You did not swoop in, and hi-jack other peoples dogs. I myself have NO issue with that.

This is the problem when dealing with one side of a three sided story!

The shelter still did not handle this properly. I am happy for the dogs!

yeah, thumbs up to breeding "resuce" dogs.  yay!  I don't care if DV delivered them personally or Ron Perez.  The only outcome I respect anybody in any of this, is getting the dog and giving it a great home.  Trying to profit from it???  Screw off.  I don't care who you are.  This things sucks from the rooter to the tooter, but as with anything, people will justify whatever they want to do.
